honestly one of my favorite books. obviously some of the essays didn’t pertain to me, but I loved this so much

I can't say this book changed my life or the way I think, though it was interesting for the most part. There were moments of insight, and some essays offered engaging perspectives on mindfulness, resilience, and self-improvement. However, I found it somewhat repetitive—many chapters gave me a sense of déjà vu, as if I were reading the same ideas rephrased differently.

If you're looking for truly groundbreaking insights, this might not be the book for you. But if you enjoy bite-sized wisdom and reflective writing, it could still be worth a read.

Just so bad... Thought I would gain some knowledge or insight but it's so whitewashed and littered with privilege. Not much of an informative or interesting perspective

This book is basically a book of lists. Lists of generic self help blips repeated over and over with the context and phrasing only varying slightly. Also listened to it rather than read it and the narrator took loud breaths and smacked her lips a lot. Every pause sounded like someone with cotton mouth trying desperately to moisten her mouth. But it was audible. It was ASMR torture for someone with misophonia.
