Great story! I couldn't put this one down and read it in one sitting! Emotional and captivating, Bennett and Olivia were perfect for one another. They went through so much and I loved their story.
Forget Me Not was an angsty read, that made up for its plot holes by making me feel ridiculously emotional.
I don’t know what it is, but recently I’ve been craving a romance that makes me feel things. I don’t want lighthearted, I want rip-my-heart out and stomp on it emotions. What can I say, the lack of social interaction that comes with a global pandemic has left me wanting to feel sad.
I was worried going into this one. Cheating is hard to make work in romance novels, because we like to idealize our heroes. This one worked better than I anticipated. The hero grovelled, and there was a lot of exploration into what led him to cheat. It was emotional and I finished it in one morning instead of getting work done.
The reason this was not a 4-star read for me was because of the handling of Bennett’s mistress/girlfriend.To be honest I’m not even entirely sure mistress is the correct word for her. Obviously, she kept returning to bother the couple, which did make sense, she was dating(?) the hero before the accident. I didn’t think the reasoning behind why he kept going back to the her was completely explained. The part that I HATED, however, was when Olivia confronted her. The confrontation was catty, she threw sex in the other girl’s face and told her that Bennett had never loved her. It’s not that I felt the mistress didn’t deserve it – she did, like take the hint girl they keep telling you to get lost. But for Olivia, a character who was otherwise very fair and level-headed the entire novel, I just didn’t love it. It very much ruined the ending of the book for me.

Just gonna start off with I enjoy reading books by QB Tyler, so dont come at me. There are SO SO many amazing reviews for this so dont judge the book by my review. I didnt enjoy this one though.
Buddy read with @ Apologies for all the messages moaning I needed smut, or I needed ‘something’. All my unpopular opinions Ha!
This kinda fell flat for me. I found it kinda hard to get into and a lot was left to the end of the book IMO. Things were touched on/mentioned and then that was it. It has deep emotional trauma in it which im grateful I cant relate to, but I know so many can. So please check TW. I did feel for the MFC but I found her childish and although she accepted she had a hand in the marriage breaking down she sometimes didnt think her ‘role’ was as bad as his. He got a lot of blame (rightly so sometimes) but she was terrible with communication. I DID like him! Bennett was a great MMC. Possessive (all the touch her and die vibes), protective, passionate. Not afraid to beg and grovel but dominating in the bedroom. I thought we’d see more of the side characters but they kinda disappeared. I dunno, just wasnt for me.

MESSY MESSY MESSY !!!!! Truly a wild listen, I was unable to put it down !
I don't know if they actually changed/grew enough by the end for how immature they acted BUT it was incredibly entertaining!

Oh my Stars! My heart was so unprepared for this book!! What an emotional read! This book was both devastating and Beautiful! Forget Me Not wasps very Raw and all consuming! I thought my heart was never going to get a break! My emotions were everywhere and I definitely shed some tears! Live and Clark are two people who you can’t help but love. Love isn’t always perfect and sometimes life tests us. This book really sheds light on some hardships of marriage and divorce and how life for all involved. Typically I don’t like to be sad while reading because sometimes the line between reality and fiction often blurs for the reader. When you relate to a book on a serious level it often can make one reflect and sometimes you can’t help but compare. For myself I can usually spend random moments or days thinking about a book I’ve read and when it’s really heartbreakingly emotional I can’t lose the feeling. This book was wonderful and I’m so happy it was written because so many couples out there deal with keeping their marriage alive and whole. This story was so much more than a second chance! Very well written and lots of heart and soul was put in to this book! Loved it! Nothing worth it is ever easy. I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

I know there are a lot of mixed feelings about this book, and I completely understand why. I am not a fan of amnesia books, let alone books that centre around cheating. But...this IS my favourite Q.B. Tyler book. Bennett and Olivia are the most realistic (minus the number of intimate situations) couple I have read in a long time. They were happily in love, married and trying to grow their family. Unfortunately, life had other plans and Olivia suffered from multiple miscarriages causing her to shut down completely. This left Bennett to deal with the pain of losing the babies by himself. One drunken night, he cheats on Olivia, and the two separate for six months until a car accident wipes two years away from his memory. Let me just state I DO NOT CONDONE CHEATING. In no circumstance is that the appropriate way to deal with anything. In this work of FICTION, I can see how this can occur. I do wish he grovelled a little more. I understand he was hurting, but Olivia deserved more of him showing her how sorry he was instead of just stating it. Regardless, I loved these two, individually and together. Their pain and confusion were palpable. The audiobook for this was excellent. The voice actors did a spectacular job giving the characters life. Go in knowing this little blurb, and you will be pleasantly surprised by how good this story is.
