To start off let me say that I am big fan of C.M. Stunich's work and I am even in her book club on Facebook. There were many things I liked about this book and a few things I didn't.
Liked:
-For the most part I really enjoyed the characters, the heroine can get a bit annoying but that is mainly because she tends to repeat herself a lot.
- I really enjoyed the plot and the writing flowed nicely
Didnt Like:
- I can not stand when a main character repeats the same thing through out the entire book, I can not tell you how many times Maryne told us she was poor, lived in a train car, came from the wrong side of the tracks, etc. I do understand that her financial status is a HUGE part of the story but she doesn't have to remind me on every other page that she is poor. I got it.
-I honestly can not understand why she was bullied in the way she was just for being poor.... there was literally no other reason except for the fact she was poor.
-I noticed a few spelling errors in the names and some of the sentences didn't make sense but I know its impossible to catch every error.
-Maryne is not the brightest heroine. She is gullible and lets things slide way to easily. Also, earlyish on in the book she is introduced to a secret club and is told her Ex-Zach killed someone and not until the very end of the book does she question either one of those things... and she doesnt even do that until Tristan basically makes Zach tell her who he "killed".
-The MAIN thing that really bothers me about this book is that the characters are 15 years old! A lot stuff happens for the characters to only be fifteen. Maryne walks in on Tristan screwing a Senior (4th year) in the bathroom... HE IS 15! That scene happens before it is mentioned in the book that he is 15 and once I read the part, " Tristan looks more like he is 30 than 15," my mouth dropped open and I felt very weird. To finish the book I literally had to make myself think that these characters, especially the boys, were 17-18 years old. C.M. writes these boys as if they are grown college men, with tattoos, piercings, sex, abs, etc.
This story was very well written and C.M. knows how to pull you but I can not get over the fact that these characters are only 15 and don't even have a legal ID. This would have been a great college story, or a JR or Senior high school setting, but definitely not freshman.
I plan on finishing out the series because all in all I did enjoy this book, I just wish C.M. would do a re-write and make the characters older.

I’m so sad to say I couldn’t finish this book. This is the first of a high school bully romance series. I’ve read several series by CM before and loved them, I’m definitely a fan of hers, but I tried and tried and tried and just didn’t care for this book. I honestly kept finding myself checking my location hoping I was almost to the end. And I just felt like nothing happened the entire book. Maryne was an “okay” lead character, but nothing really stood out about her. And I didn’t understand her attraction towards the guys when they clearly talked to her about wanting other girls, and using her to make other girls jealous. I get this is a bully romance, I actually love the bully trope, but I saw absolutely nothing that would make me think these s characters liked each other even a tiny bit to be able to picture them together in future books. Idk, the characters just weren’t very likable. I saw no redeeming qualities. Again, I just felt like nothing major really happened at all in this book and it didn’t snag my attention so I won’t be continuing the series, unfortunately.
If you’re looking for a good bully series by CM, definitely check out her adamson all boys academy series!
UPDATE: I did end up continuing on a few months later due to so many positive recs. My overall review is on the final book

I was up all night reading this! I couldn’t put it down, I loved it!
O-M-G. What did I just read? I don’t know why I always do this to myself- start a new and freaking good series and then wait in agony for the next book. I’m too old for this and my heart can’t just handle anymore of this anticipation but I do it anyway *sighs*. Yes, woe is me. Well, enough of the drama.
Filthy Rich Boys is the first book in this newest series from the author. Now, I love Rock Hard Beautiful. I love it so much that I’m over the moon when the author said she will release a sort of follow up book. But right after reading this baby, I’m sorry Muse and Copeland but I will need to add these boys to our group.
This book gave me the Boys Over Flowers/ Meteor Garden vibes. Let me just say that I was a huge fan of those series and I was so scared after a few chapters in that it will be nearly like the TV sitcom. Although the TV series and this book both share the story of a poor girl who attended a prestigious school for the filthy rich and elitist students, it ended with the characters and even the minor ones back stories. The FMC of this story is way different from the sassy, spunky girl from the sitcom. But I have a feeling that she might have a change of character on book 2. Like they say, hell has no fury like a woman scorned and revenge is best served cold. The author added her own twists to this story and with the way it ended, it made me more anxious to read the next one. I really hope it won’t be long. I need my fix right now!

DNF - i love bully romances if there’s plenty of groveling to make up for it but i TRULY do not like ANY of the characters in this book.
This book in one sentence: Marnie is sent on scholarship to a prestigious school, but the rich kids don't want her there and target her with intense bullying.

The school of entitlement
Wow... Just yeah. I'm stunned. This isn't the first bully romance I've read but it sure was one of the darker ones.
I wrote a longer review but that quickly became a rant about entitlement, horrible parenting and wanting for thise fictional characters to learn the value of a dollar without trust funds. So to summarize, i will read the next book and Marnye was a badass.

Divide and conquer
I loved this book! After reading the prologue I was thinking, ok I see where this is going but then as I read further in I thought ok this can't be good. I was dying to figure out how the author will take the Maryne I read in the prologue from the what I was reading nd dang those douches guys are some twisted A holes. I can't wait for the next book, she deserves her revenge 100 percent!

Gripping
This book will have you on the edge of your seat as you try to figure out what will happen next, how much more can she take. Well there’s only one way to find out, sit back and get ready to meet the ‘Filthy Rich Boys’.
