The Monarch hotel was the perfect setting for this romance. Elena and Atlas were meant to be with undeniable chemistry. And the love between Ivy and Elena was so sweet.

This was a fast, fun read, packed with romance and suspense elements. This book is the second in the interconnected standalone series, with Grimstone being the first. I was lucky enough to read an ARC of Grimstone last year and loved it, so was keen to try this book too. The cover is gorgeous!

I enjoyed the book, but I will say it felt like there was something slightly missing for me in this book. Perhaps right book, wrong time.
