Super fun and GREAT as an audiobook. Makes me want to rewatch Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
you *have* to listen to the audiobook, its one of the best celebrity recordings ive heard. it felt like a one woman show.

Very on brand with Rachel’s humor and a great read (although I recommend the audiobook as well or follow along like a book on tape as I did
Glad I listened to the audiobook. Though I feel like I missed out on some interesting diagrams/pics/drawings(?), I definitely gained enjoyment of several Rachel bloom explanations sung.
She is funny, and pulls off even those jokes that shade into cliche thanks to the years since this book was published and her own age. Like a lot of funny people she is profane to the point of exhaustion. Which reminds my a lot of my own mother. Often I want to say to her come on, please, this matters, take this seriously. In Rachel's case it's clear this comes partially from her own overstrong feelings on Things Mattering and also a desire not to be fetishized. I still don't know why my mom is like that.
