This book was decent in the form of information on why habits are important, and how to build better habits. But like most self improvement books, it goes on far too long.
Often times, I appreciate information, evidence, charts and so on.
This book however, kept having them over and over and over and over.
Almost as if to meet a page count or word count.
The basic information is good and helpful, but the book just went on longer than needed.

This was exactly what I expected. It was a short read, so I'm not saying didn't read it, but this information is really synthesized into shorter reads.

That being said if hearing the inspiration behind the read is important to you, then it's worth it.

Circular, abelist, not entirely helpful, logic behind it is soooo annoying.

Really interesting book on breaking down habits! I cannot wait to try them out in my person life. I think my favorite was the big decision (I don’t remember what he named it in the book), but essentially that critical decisions that leads to other behaviors. Master that and you got a good start. I also want to remember going one percent at a time, one percent better & making the habit (that I want to preform) easy that way I can master it and once mastered and made unconscious, upgrade and advance to the next one.

You can synthesize this book into a sentence: just sit down and get it done with extra steps.

I get why people call this life changing: people are more often than not lazy and not that smart.
