I happened across this book in a giveaway and I am so glad that I won it . I stumbled upon this book and based on the review and the preview it sounded like it was right up my alley and you can bet it was. It was fun, hot, and romantic and a great comfort read during this crazy time. I loved the romance in it and how the family struggles that Luis and Sara both had were character changing for them. Their chemistry was great and sometimes when romances take place in as short of a time as Luis and Sara's was (over a week) it is hard to believe that the characters are that in love with each other, but Priscilla Oliveras did it just the right way that you believe that they truly love each other. I'm also glad that the Ric thing at the end didn't turn into this whole new rift in the family. I love how they were like "sis don't worry just go get your mans". I am so glad I found this book.

This is a cute little fake dating, insta-love, only-one-bed romcom with lots of Spanish tossed in. Don’t worry if you don’t know the language—context is always given, and a translation is usually slipped in within a few lines.

There’s a celebratory family vacation in Florida, and the goal is to avoid upsetting their mother, recovering from breast cancer treatments. Our MC is stood up for the trip by her boyfriend. In an effort not to upset her mom, she asks Luis to be her fake boyfriend.

The story is a bit repetitive. It also gets pretty steamy. The leading lady has an eating disorder, and our main man is a firefighter/EMT, so those are both interesting angles.

CW: cancer, infidelity, loss of a partner, self-doubt

This was so cute and fun. Fake boyfriends are always an introduction into a great adventure.

What a great book to finish on Valentine's Day! Guys, I love Luis. He's one of my top book boyfriends now.

This is just a fun book, lots of Key West sunshine in the middle of a snowy winter, lots of family love.

Yay for Sara and Luis and thanks to Pris for writing it!

I love a good fake romance to real love story, and Sara and Luis definitely delivered that! They both had issues to work through, and I loved that they helped each other get through them. The families, the setting, the food, and just everything in this book was so good!

This steamy little romp through the Florida keys was just the diversion I needed to keep my mind off of some unpleasant real life situations. Heck, I even almost forgot that I’m a married woman, because I found myself wanting to catch a flight to the islands and find a sultry Cuban boyfriend to rent for the week.

Side note: nobody ever writes about an ugly Cuban. Are they all smoking hot heroes like Ranger from Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series, and Luis from this book? I may need to do some real life investigation. Might also need to start running and shave my legs before investigation begins.

Good quick read! I liked the plot and growth of likeness between the main characters! Also the deepness of her family trauma and working that out.

Better than I expected!

Sweet and adorable. It makes me feel all warm inside. The first 60% was a biiiiitt boring for me since, ya know, I need angst to live but that's my preferences. But the story picks up after that and I love the resolutions for the family drama. A fantastic summer vacation read. Makes me want to go on a vacation myself, but damn this pandemic quarantine
