Obsessively Yours is the second book in the Fae Kings of Eden series but can be read as a standalone. Jamie writes really fun and unhinged fantasy romance stories and I find myself continuously drawn to the wildness of them. Although this book was more of a friends to lovers (which is not a trope I’m usually drawn to), I was entertained by the continuous drama and conflict where Violet’s sister was the one mated to her love interest, Roman. I LIVE for that kind of drama in my romance books and loved the conflict that it was bringing to the story, especially a story that is very insta-lusty.

That being said, this wasn’t my favorite because it felt very dragged out and long. We grow up with these characters from around 15 years old and the story is pretty slow-paced with a lot of unnecessary fluff. I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was a similar length as the first book, Viciously Yours.

Thanks to the author for sending me an ARC for review!

This gives you what it’s ment to and nothing more, it’s unhinged , funny , smutty and entertaining.
It does not set out to be anything more or less than that, and i ate it up I binged it in less than 24 hours if you had fun with the first book you’ll love this too.
•It can be read on its own.
•it really made me laugh
•it was full of drama
•I will be patiently waiting for the next crazy unhinged book in this series
I do think the drama was dragged out a little too much otherwise perfect easy to binge book when you want some crazy entertainment

Well, I have a new book boyfriend obsession! Roman is unhinged, possessive, yet adorable and nerdy. Honestly, aside from the maiming and killing he's the whole package! ...Oh who am I kidding. The maiming and killing are BIG parts of that package 😆 These two overcame SO many hurdles, but his love and obsession for her never ever waivered. He has SO many green flags (yeah yeah, aside from the whole maiming and killing thing...). I also love that in both Viciously Yours and Obsessively yours she put in important side characters who are queer without the whole fanfare. Like they simply exist, and happen to be queer.
I also have a BIG weakness for animal side kicks and War and Babs delivered times two!

This book was honestly just so lovely. There’s only one piece in the entire book that I didn’t love and that’s mostly because I hated that specific character 😅 she writes her characters well enough that the ones you love you really love and the ones you hate you really hate haha. It was so amazing to be an arc reader for the first time and the author’s sense of humour really comes through in her characters. PS: I haven’t seen anyone reference the fist **** in their reviews. If you’ve read it you know what I mean. That was unhinged 😂
