I absolutely loved this book! As soon as it came out I checked my library for it so i could read it! This book was really cute and sad at the same time. Oh and i 100% cried, it proves that not everything can go how you wish it would and it won’t always end in a happy way, a lot of books have happy endings but this book shows a different perspective! I loved Flint’s personality and how he acted, i even love his name. September was a great character and I loved how she loved science and worked so hard for her sister who she wanted to keep a promise to!

THIS BOOK OMG - IT DESERVES SEVEN STARS ITS TOO GOOD. The romance is so sweet and I literally cried at the end - it’s much worse than they both die at the end or all the bright places. I fell in love with BOTH characters from the beginning and will definitely be rereading it soon ❤️

It has a nice sentiment but it's kind of cheesy and I thought it left a lot of things unresolved/underdeveloped.

“I don’t know that grieving always means crying.”

Flint has 41 days, 9 hours and 42 minutes left to live. He’s known since he was eight years old when his death day would be when his half-life seizure occurred. Now he and his parents have moved back to his hometown to live out the last of his days there, keeping anything enjoyable out of his life so that death will seem like a relief. When Flint meets September, everything changes. Shes dealing with a grief of her own, but in a way that no one knows. She keeps a happy face on while working towards finding a cure for the half-life at the institute she works at. Flint can’t seem to tell September he’s dying and she won’t share she’s already experienced a death day of her own.

Why aren't more people talking about this novel?! Perfection. This YA book by @brianna_bourne_writes was everything I wanted and more. Fans of They Both Die at the End and Five Feet Apart will devour this one just as I did. Bring tissues—I bawled most of the novel!

CW: grief, death, depression, hospitalization, child death

Surprisingly good and well written!

I picked this book, a little skeptical of the concept at first but it turned out alright. The characters were pretty likeable and detailed. There were many positive messages throughout the book, helping characters (and me!) grow and change. The concept I found quite interesting, with all theories and its relevance to real life science.

The romance does seem to be a little sudden but the relationship was okay. The

at the end seemed sort of rushed and I was bit confused with treatment and such.

The ending was a bit of a tear jerker and it made me a little sad. Very bittersweet.

I knew this book would break me! The countdown to Flint’s death had me turning pages so quickly. I really enjoyed his and September’s character growth in this book and definitely want to read more from this author. For fans of They Both Die at the End.

This book does have some closed door sexual content so I would say higher YA.

I loved this book so much. What a journey!!!! A great story filled with a bit of scifi, romance and dealing with feelings especially when they are difficult. This book wrecked me in a good way. I read Brianna's 1st book and loved it and she won me over again with her 2nd book. She has earned a spot on my list of favorite authors. I will definitely read anything she writes in the future.
