I loved this audiobook and couldn't wait for the next one! It didn't disappoint.

I loved this book! The thought of time travel is awesome and I love that this book took you on an adventure. It was very captivating. I was happy that it didn't center around a typical YA fantasy love story, held strong to the actual plot of the book. And man, that ending....DID NOT see that coming. I can't wait for book 2.

I FINISHED IT, HALLELUJAH! This book was actually so good. I was interested with what was going on throughout the whole thing. The time travel was pretty cool (even though I don't usually enjoy time skips). I'm DEFINITELY reading the next book.

There was so much hype for this book I was worried that it couldn't live up to my expectations, but I actually loved it! The characters, the plot, the setting, the writing - it was all fabulous! Time travel fantasy can be tricky for me, but I found the premise and the execution of Passenger to be very well done. I enjoyed every era we got to visit and the almost treasure hunt feel of the last half of the book especially.

I've been having a bit of a reading drought for the past couple months but I feel like this book got me out of my funk. I was desperate to keep reading and I'm so glad I already have the sequel checked out so I can start reading it right away!

I prefer to start with something positive, so right off the bat I'll say Bracken has mastered the art of description. There were a few blurbs I reread they were so beautifully written. The book as a whole, however, did nothing for me. It was set up with a solid premise involving time travel, pirates, and varying pockets of time. This could have been so interesting but for me, it fell flat. Conversations would go on, and on, and on, without ever really developing into anything significant. Explanations were conveniently placed to the point of predictability and I couldn't connect with any of the characters. For her age, I'd say this was a solid attempt given the sophistication of the language she used (despite dipping down momentarily from time to time to an immature style), but I can't say I would recommend it. Sometimes, simplicity is best.
