Let me preface this by saying - I was looking for a lighthearted book. I will also say it was way too cutesy for me. I finished it to give it a chance though. It is a little predictable. I also have an aversion to the words, “baby vamp” and it is rampant in this book. I think I need to stick to my dark fantasy books.

I wanted quirky fun, but what I got was 39 pages of paralysis, complaining, and contradictions. The MC is 39 years old but whines like a teen, loses 25 lbs in four days, has a tan as a vampire, and somehow hasn’t peed in four days? Make it make sense.
She mentions orgies before we even get to the plot, throws around the word “OCD” like it’s a vibe, and keeps contradicting herself mid-thought. “It was heavenly, but it wasn’t right, and I threw up?” — what even is that sentence?
If becoming a vampire somehow forces her to be vegan, I’m out. Oh wait… I already am.

Oddly entertaining
its one of those laid-back mystery books, it doesn't get you overly stressed out on who did what plus its got a lovely speed to it.
this was one of those books that I picked without checking it out properly, but im happy I picked it out it was a fun little adventure
