I read this book and I honestly fell in love with Ray Bradbury's writing style. The setting is interesting, as well as the first person point if view. The writing has a variation of it's pace-when i read some parts, such as times of suspense or anticipation, the lines seemed to flow more quickly to match the mood. The only thing that got me on not giving it a full five was how quickly it had ended.

I was excited to read this book, being that it’s a classic and all. But I was disappointed. It’s not a bad book but it is definitely not worth the hype. The message that the book sends to the audience is more interesting as a concept than the actual story here. The writing style is not good imo. He writes in metaphors that are confusing 90% of the time and it is extremely short.
Overall, I love the message of disassociation with media and society becoming antisocial and the presentation of information corrupting our society in the future. It’s a very interesting concept. But I think it wasn’t done very well. I think reading this when it came out over 60 years ago, it would be a 5 star, but unfortunately it doesn’t hold up as well currently. Still a decent read. 3.0 out of 5 stars

I really struggled to get through this book. Almost did not finish. I listened the the audio version which I usually love to do but found with this book that I just keep speeding up the narration to get through it quicker.
There were some great moments, of course, but over all, I didnt connect with it.
