I loved My Lady Jane, it was full of humor and adventure, where My Plain Jane definitely lacked.

There were humorous parts towards the latter, and the plot didn’t move faster until I was around Chapter 18. It was okay, not as entertaining as I thought it would be.

Nice plot, I didn’t guess that it’s where it was heading but it’s not enough to keep a higher rating. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good story altogether, but following in the awesomeness My Lady Jane — it failed.

This was really, really fun. It's been a long time since I read Jane Eyre, and I barely remember it. So resemblances or whatever were kind of lost on me. I don't know if that made a difference in my enjoyment, but I had a lot of fun reading this.

What a creative idea for a story! Unfortunately the humor fell flat and the writing felt lazy. There were some feel-good moments in the book--when the authors say crying is a reminder that we are alive and when Jane Eyre has a moment of thanks for all the people she loves in her life. This is a YA book and I might have liked it better if I'd read it when I was younger.
