I was literally internally screaming during the last few chapters. I loved this book soooo much. I think my heart just screamed.
This was the cutest thing ever. It had romance, ballet, and PARIS.
Butterflies throughout the whole thing.

Kisses and Croissants by Anne-Sophie Jouhanneau was a great read, allowing the reader to be able to travel vicariously through Paris, explore a budding romance, and pursue a passion for dance. Following the main character Mia as she navigated her new life at a prestigious Paris ballet school also allowed us, as the reader, to experience many kinds of relationships along with her. From making new ballet friends to meeting estranged family members, and being swept away in her first love, Mia’s story touches on a wide variety of dynamics that were all written in a relatable manner. And, even though I’ve never danced before, I felt drawn into Mia’s intensity and love toward ballet. Mia’s drive was admirable and, even when unexpected tragedy occurred, she was still able to pick herself up again and keep moving forward toward her dreams. If you are interested in a warmhearted read where you find yourself truly rooting for the characters to succeed, this one's for you.

Ever since I saw the cover of this book, I knew I had to read it. Anything about a girl going to Paris and ballet, I want that book in my hands ASAP. There's something so magical and romantic about books abroad, so I just couldn't wait to dig into this one.
The characters were fantastic, and I especially loved the main character, Mia and Louis, they are so cute!
Kisses and Croissants was just an all around absolute blast, and I can't wait to get my hands on the author's next book!

That ending had me SHOOK oh my gods.
But it was such a lovely read !
It reminded me why I started reading romance novels and how lovely they could be.
It also showed me to kind of enjoy life and let it flow ! It doesn’t need to be so strict and by the book and following the rules ! Let it flow !

It couldve been a solid 4 stars because how enjoyable it was (noting that I genuinely want to read a simple and fun story like this to pass the time), kalau bukan karena 20 halaman terakhir. Kayak. Vibe ceritanya langsung berubah, the flow is disrupted, pokoknya epilognya jadi ga berasa. Terus jadinya geregetan sendiri gitu kayak man why do you need to do that at the very end... kayak... ya oke I can probably see the purpose of that plot device tapi kayak THERE ARE OTHER WAYS. If you didnt put it in, CERITANYA TETEP BISA JALAN. All in all, that plot device felt like an afterthought. Sebel banget T ____ T tapi yaudah lah uda abis bukunya...
