It’s rare to read a book and think the entire time, wow these people should not be together. I stand by that.

I thought Trouble was a great story. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, was because I live in Colorado.. Gunnison is the correct name for the nearby city to Durango, And Grand Junction is a good 3 hours away, so not just a quick drive from Durango. Logistics aside, the story flowed very well and I really like Jordan and Dozer.. The pain that Mia endured was horrible. How many times in our lives do we say we are sorry, when we didn't do anything wrong?... lots.

Trouble is no lie. Bulimia, abuse, gambling, maternal issues, daddy issues, etc... woah. Heavy stuff here. I like how the two messed up characters found each other and eventually found help. I loved the way the ending came together.

Really well written book, with the exception of a few tiny grammatical errors. (I'd really love to be able to read a book on my kindle without more than three...come on indie authors! Make it happen already.)
This story is poignant, bittersweet, and honestly, Jordan is a dreamboat. The hunky, sweet, colorful nerd made me laugh and smile throughout this book more times than I could count.
Samantha Towle is a gifted writer, I will definitely be looking for her other books in the future.

Wow!!! Trouble starts out with a bang! It has such an intense beginning, that was a little hard to read at times.
Trouble follows the story of Mia, who has had the worst life. She feels as though her life can finally begin once her abusive father dies. But, unfortunatly for her, she leaves one nightmare for another. Her current boyfriend, Forbes, is horrible! Not only is he abusive, but uses sex as a weapon. I hated him. I wanted Mia to leave him before she ended up dead. So, needless to say, I was so happy when she was able to get away.
Then Mia meets Jordan. At first, she is intimidated by him because she only knows men to be hurtful. And Jordan turns out to be exactly what Mia needs.
I loved getting this story from both Mia and Jordan's pov. I felt that the author really nailed the male pov and the inside of Jordan's head is pretty funny!! I loved that Mia and Jordan's relationship started out as friends and built into something pretty amazing.
This story is a great one of friendship, love, an amazing second chance at life and learning how to get past scars that aren't only on the surface. As I previously stated this story was intense at times, but was so amazing!!

I thought this book was enjoyable and funny. I enjoyed the characters..damaged girl meets bad boy. I have recently started reading a lot of new adult novels and thoroughly enjoyed this novel. It was a great quick read and would recommend for anyone who loves this genre.
