Super interesting. Would recommend if you’re nosy like me or just interested in the Playboy franchise and how gross Hugh Hefner is. Too much focus on her being the nice one while everyone else was a “mean girl” though. There were either huge gaps in the story or just no self awareness at certain points but I really like Holly Madison and found this enjoyable! Might have to look into her other book
Being part of the generation that actually saw the boom and grow with reality shows, knowing the show and knowing Holly show. I enjoy reading and know Holly version, I love they all had a good friendship specially Holly and Bridget friendship. If you enter this book thinking in find a masterpiece you going to be VERY disappointed

As the interest in the early 2,000’s has seemingly taken over my internet feed, the playboy mansion become increasingly fascinating to me. Look, I won’t lie and say this book is incredibly written, eye-opening, or whatever, but it sure was…. a trip. We already knew that Playboy as a whole was messed up, right? Hugh Hefner was a piece of misogynistic crap, right? Something about reading about it from the biased point of view of one of his #1 girlfriends just made me shudder even more, whether what Madison wrote about was 100% true or not. If you’re looking for a book to give you some good “early 2000’s Hollywood”visuals, give this a go. It certainly wasn’t a waste of my time.

Second audiobook for me and I loved it. I listen to the girls next door podcast and just love Holly’s style of talking. She speaks and writes very eloquently even though people talk a lot of crap. I learned so much that I didn’t know from the behind the scenes. I completely forgot she dated Criss Angel. My ex bff was hardcore in love with him. I can’t wait to listen to her next book.
I liked Holly as a narrator. I wondered about the other sides to the stories. Especially when she was describing the text/twitter fight she got into about copy cats? I think that is a great example of how there are many sides to the same story. I liked learning about playboy as a business, even though I'm sure this is just a tiny portion.
