Really solid. Enjoyed greatly. I find myself really appreciating books with a self-(re)discovery story and this one delivers. I also love a romance featuring characters over 30!

fun but scattered; also why does sexual abuse always pop up out of nowhere? Jesus. trigger warning for that. the ending was deeply unsatisfying, with a lot of explosion and then a hugely abrupt ending note, but she's got good instincts about character beats, so I did enjoy the read

Quite enjoyable, though it seems many of her books are similar. Quick and entertaining, but with some dark moments and emotional payoff. Not the deepest/most impressive book I've ever read, but just what I wanted.
