Loved this story, friends to lovers is truly ideal and the fact that they ended up being open about not wanting the agreement to end was just perfect

I continued on my Chelsea Curto read. This one tells the story of Lacey, a pediatrician and Shawn, the head coach of the DC Football team and also both are best friends of the main characters of the previous book Camera Chemistry. Shawn and Lacey are just friends, until he kisses her on a game kiss cam and (of course) they decide to fake date

Friends to lovers is not my most favorite trope but I enjoyed this book. Shawn is definitely giving Ted Lasso but younger vibes and I liked his interactions with the team. The reasons for fake dating felt especially thin in this one and only ended up being not that important to the plot. This was definitely a everyone realizes we're in love before we do type book. I liked the banter and again Chelsea Curto spice is top tier. This book was exactly what I wanted, an easy to read but fun rom com.

This story follows Lacey, a pediatrician, and her best friend, Shawn, a well-known head coach for the NFLโ€™s DC Titans. Lacey decides to bring a date to one of the games, but during a break, the kiss cam catches them, leading to an uncomfortable moment. When Shawn looks up and sees Lacey, he decides to take matters into his own hands. Can these best friends turn into lovers?

What a fantastic read! These two characters are so much fun. The tension, chemistry, banter, and flirty behavior are perfection. The way they look at and truly see each other is beautiful. This was such a feel-good read about two close friends trying to understand and navigate their growing feelings for each other. The spice was delicious and intimate. I will say itโ€™s more character-driven, but I honestly didnโ€™t mind. I also recommend the audiobook if youโ€™re thinking of picking it up!

I wanted to loved this but after the first sex scene, it felt like reading a wattpad story again. All sex, no character development, and too long by the end of it.

I CANT BELIEVE SHAWN IS ONLY A FICTIONAL CHARACTER!!!! heโ€™s so unreal, heโ€™s so perfect and such a softie!!!! fmc is a doctor? trust that i will read that shit!!!
