This was book #33 for Romanceopoly 2020.

Pack: Moon
Square: The Vault
Challenge: Read the PNR that has been on your TBR for the longest if you don't have any PNR on your TBR, pick a book from any of our PNR recommendations list.

I'm not sure that I loved the narrators for this audiobook but I did enjoy the story. It isn't completely my cup of tea but I'll likely read the next book in the series.

I am not sure how Kim Loraine does it, but she can entice me into reading a paranormal romance, not my usual genre, and make me fall completely in love with the story and characters. after the Fallen Trilogy, I was sure I would never find another that would suck me in, but this spinoff has done just that. Featuring Izzy, one of the three witches from Releasing the Watcher, we take a journey as she tries to break the curse that plagues the three of them. They each die when they turn 27 and are reborn. This is devastating to all involved, no as a result, Izzy does not ant or be close to anyone. In steps Grant, hot wolf shifter, protective alpha male, who has determined that Izzy is his mate. But can a witch mate with a shifter? And what will happen to Grant's mission, find the witches and kill them? And why is Tristan, Izzy,s previous lover alive and back in Izzy's life? Loraine will take you on their journey, with angels, shifters and witches. This action packed story is full of hot chemistry, deceit, family bonds and a love so strong you won't be able to stop listening til you reach the end.

The narration in this book is by the talented Will Watt and new to me Felicity Foster. Watt performs a Scottish brogue to perfection, sucking you into the story and making you fall for Grant. Foster gives the witches life, and her Irish accent is spot on. The duet narrators truly compliment each other and perform beautifully.

A fairy tale re-telling. Hot alpha hero, even hotter sex. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

It's an interesting story, but I've been slightly put off by the language. I do no have an issue with sex in fiction and do not consider myself a prude by any standard, but I do not use the word 'cunt' in my normal vernacular and neither do any of the women I come into contact with. It's off putting.

First book I read by this author and rather a good surprise =)
(the fact that it was free on Amazon helped x))

What I particularly liked :
- the past of the heroines who are each characters of legendary love stories (Tristan and Iseult here)
- the originality of the story with the curse and the sirens !!

What I liked least :
- we are a little "thrown" into the universe and I found that the explanations arrived a little too fast and all at the same time (yes it's a kind of spin-off so it's normal that we don't know all the secondary characters but still ...)

It's not a favorite but I will read the next book with pleasure (especially since I always had a crush on the angels <3)

If paranormal isn’t really your thing, I urge you to try a Kim Loraine/ K. Loraine book as she really has a wonderful way of writing these stories that pull you in. I was invested in Izzy’s story from the moment it started. Add in shifter Grant, and I was all-in. I loved their relationship and their pull to one another. It is high spice for those wanting some sexiness in their books—this book has you! There are twists and turns galore, that will keep you guessing, swooning, and gasping in shock.
I am looking forward to reading about the other two sisters.

What a joy this book was to listen to. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve had Will M. Watt in my ears. Felicity Foster was new to me, and I didn’t struggle a little with some of the accent, but overall, a brilliant performance by both of them.

🌟🌟🌟🌟STARS
ARC-BOOK REVIEW
Release Date-27/2/18

So this is the first book I have read by this author and I found it an enjoyable experience.
Eternal Desire is a Paranormal romance involving Witches and Shifters and arch-angels.
Three witches to be precise.
All cursed to die young because of previous events.
And I'm assuming each sister witch here is going to be given their own particular tale as I noticed further story-lines being set up for at least one of them.
Eternal Fire itself involved Izzy and Grant.
Izzy is a witch and Grant a made shifter with a pack.
These two are like oil and water neither paranormal species usually co-existing also there magic is so different so to find a mate like this is unheard off.
Also to further complicate matters the girls have a price on their head and Grants pack has been tasked with the hit on them.
Also, interwoven into this picture is the love story of Isolde and Tristan the one of legend.
Both were under a previous love spell and in one of Izzy's past lives, her heart was laid bare and broken from this leaving her unwilling to take a chance on Grant and risk her heart again.
So with her curse hanging over her, Izzy has battened down her hatches.
Unwilling to allow love to break her for the second time.
Tristan himself does pop up here to further stir the pot and muddy the waters.
but Eternal desire mainly involves Grant trying to protect Izzy from his pack.
And Izzy not surprisingly fighting him every step of the way.
So, Grant, I liked but there were times he annoyed me like when he considered giving up Izzy

BAD BAD WOLF!!!

Izzy I found was very indecisive and I did find this a trifle annoying at times just make up your mind girl.
Overall taking everything into consideration though I did like both main characters.
They were real with quirks and faults that made them seem more human.
I found the storyline here to be easy to follow there were a few inconsistencies in regards to plot like wolves being turned to ash and then resurrected.
But reading another review this is going to be corrected in the finished product.
I was reading an ARC here so was prepared for some minor errors.
I'm assuming this book is part of a bigger series and this is a spin-off, don't let that put you off this can totally be read as a standalone.
I found this to be a hot read and you could definitely feel the chemistry between Izzy and Grant.
So, in conclusion, this was a fun paranormal read that kept my attention throughout.
I was provided with an ARC of "Eternal Desire (Siren Coven, #1) " By the author of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
