I enjoyed the conclusion but would have loved an epilogue.. See what happens in a year or who will occupy the spare bedroom. There were too many times that another language was written with no translation and that just loses something in the story for me.. I want to know what is being said. We never found out about her sisters story. There were so many editing errors that were distracting.. spin for spine, out for our and soup for soap.. simple things like that. Over all the story was good and great character development, most I loved..

I'm going to write down my assumptions for this one.
And then change it if I change my mind after reading at least part of the book (cause I don't think I will actually read the whole thing).
- Elena's reaction will be perfectly normal.
- The entire family will make me furious if they accept their relationship.
- I will still hate the main characters.

During reading:
- Did he seriously just say that Elena is his best friend and he hates breaking her heart even tho he just finished fucking her sister two minutes ago?
- I am fucking hurt and actually crying (I can't even imagine how people in Elena's position must feel)
- How in the hell does this book have an average rating of 4 start?
- Sinclare is such a scum. Why the fuck did he let Elena believe that they could make a family together, ADOPT A FUCKING BABY, if he didn't love her!?!?
- I skipped all the sex scenes because I wanted to rip their eyes out
- This isn't a book that deals with cheating, this book (the whole series really) is POORLY TRYING TO NORMALIZE AND ROMANTICISE CHEATING.
- One thing I have to say that Elena did that wasn't OK was the email she send, BDSM isn't a form of abuse if it's done responsibly by consenting adults. If it's not her scene, cool, but there was no need to demonize it. But she was understandably mad so I can partially let that go.
- Cosima earned mayor down points for "hoping Giselle has an epic love"
- So remember when Giselle was whining about her awkward body years? Well, apparently she had a body "that was hard for men to ignore" at 13
- I really don't think it's so unreasonable for Elena to act how she acts, litteraly the only two men she was every interested in, chose her sister over her. Even if one of them was an abusive fuck. Everyone just keeps saying that she's stuck up and cold and Giselle is all warmth and giggles. Sure she wasn't a great sister for a few years but can you blame her that much?
- Okay, Elena is angry and going a LIIIIIIITTLE too far

90% of the time I am of the opinion that love is great, it should be shared and it can overcome all odds. But this series was awful. This wasn't cheating because your husband is abusive and would kill you if you asked for a divorce. I wasn't cheating because you fell out of love.
This was two people who both entered a relationship with huge amounts of lust and knowingly cheated on an innocent person. Once they found out who that person was to Giselle, they didn't stop. Sure, they felt bad about it but, did they really? Because honestly? Daniel was never in love with Elena, but she was safe for him, and he strung her along for 4 years and used her, because there is no other way to say it, to seem like he had his shit together. I don't give a shit how cold everyone says Elena is. She did not deserve to be treated like that, not only by a man but by her own sister. Even if their relationship wasn't good.
This is not fucking okay. So, what? Giselle gets to have a happily every after because she meets a stranger on a plane? She gets to have a baby because he takes away her pills? And Elena has to wait, go through surgeries to be able to orgasm and MAYBE be able to have a baby and only meets the man she will love because she's doing a favour to Cosima?
If this isn't the definition of being the older sister and always being seen as cold and never getting your way because it's the younger siblings that are precious and cared for then I don't know what is.
I'm not reading anymore because I don't want to cry anymore than I did.

See? Elena is a badass, I was right.

*Book 3 of the Evolution of Sin trilogy. Be sure to read The Affair and The Secret before starting here to avoid spoilers.

As I read each book of the trilogy, I loved the story more and more. There is cheating. Absolutely, unforgivable, no justifying cheating. And yet this story is so beautiful in its flaw. The soul, the love...it’s undeniable. And I appreciate that it is acknowledged as wrong. That does not take away from the fact that Sinclair was clearly with the wrong person until Elle came into his life. There were consequences to be accepted, and life goes on. Finally, these two beautiful people get a HEA.

Amazing conclusion to this story! I will admit, they both did some shady things to get what they wanted, so they deserved some of the backlash. Absolutely they needed to atone for their missteps. A great ending to a beautiful story, can't wait to see the siblings get their own books!

So, I went into this series with apprehensions because of course the cheating is a big no no to me. However, I just had to finally read the last Lombardi sibling book (that I have left until Sebastian’s series). And, well, in true me fashion I ended up loving the story! Honestly, I just love anything Giana writes and I can’t imagine not. I would read her grocery list at this point.

Book one was slow for me, it’s a lot of spice and the real conflict doesn’t start until book two. But boy when that conflict started I was hooked. I practically finished this last book in one sitting because I just had to get to Giselle and Sinclair’s happy ending.

I fucking loved Giselle. I don’t know what it is about her that I just gravitated towards like everyone else in this book (besides Elena haha). And Sin, okay here me out. Am I in love with him? No, but I love the way he loves Giselle. He’s so passionately in love with her that I can’t help but swoon. SWOON. Giana writes their story so beautifully as she does all her stories. I have yet to come across an author who puts such great detail in their side characters. She built an amazing found family for Giselle and Sin.

Many of you may be apprehensive to go into this book because you read the Anti Heroes in love duet and you adore Elena. I do too, but I also felt like I needed to see her past and I needed to see this side of her. The lovely @eileenreadss told me that Giselle and Elena are the villains of each others story and she was so right. I think getting both sides of this story was important! I understand both of these characters more now. I’m both unapologetically team Giselle and Elena.
