this love-wildest dreams-wonderland-fearless-Red-the way i loved you

This indefinitely the best book of the serie.
After The Elite, I was scared I'd be disappointed, but this instalment made the reading of the serie so worthwhile.
All the characters was full and richly informed. The plot was soul catching and intriguing, it kept me want to see what will happen next, even though we all new how this story will as we started out with The Selection, Cass was skilfully keep her readers in suspens, always wanting more.
I will not recommend the first two books of this series, but unfortunately you have to read them the fully appreciate the last book, and this book I will recommend!
Now it's up to you if you want to learn America's story or not.

okay but why did i actually like this one(except the 3rd act breakup scene) low-key respect for the author for that whole big ending lol
im literally reading this series so fast lol

I loved this book! I was smiling (for the most part) all the way through! I mean, there was some sad parts, which were tear jerkers.
Wow. This series was phenomenal. I flew through the audiobooks during work and they definitely helped pass the time. For a while I didn’t quite understand why people said that America was annoying. However, by the second book I completely understood. While courageous, she constantly toyed with both men’s hearts even though it was obvious the entire time she truly only loved Maxon. Her constant revelations and discoveries were infuriating, but Macon’s devotion to her made my heart cry. His unstoppable love for America is inspiring. I’m really glad that Celeste’s character had a change of heart because she quickly became my favorite character. Marly was a close second. Her friendship with America was so genuine and pure. I’m going to continue this series with The Heir.
I really enjoyed this entire series and I love the ending. It is so perfect. This is a great book if you like love stories.
The third and final book from the point of view of America Singer in The Selection series.
This book opens up with King Clarkson being away in France and yet another rebel attack on the palace. Again I would like to mention the utter lack of security despite the fact that we are constantly told about the sheer amount of guards who are at the palace.
There are only 4 girls left in The Selection now and the girls all begin to get closer although of course there are always going to be the odd spat or two when they are all so close to being chosen as the one to marry the Prince.
America, as we know is in love with Maxon and likewise, we all know that Maxon is in love with America. However, they’re both a pair of young dumbarses so of course neither one of them are willing to actually say those 3 little words first and of course, Maxon is able to continue dating and snogging the other 3 girls as he see’s fit ‘cos you know, he still has to choose a wife at the end of all of this. A boy has to keep his options open.
Of course America is still wildly hated by Maxon’s father and his Mum doesn’t really seem to have an opinion. She just swans about writing letters and smiling at the girls in a condescending manner.
Aspen, the boyfriend from back home is still hovering in the background and America needs to find a way of telling him that she is no longer in love with him but overtime she tries to something pops up to stop her. But at the same time, Aspen is trying to tell America something but because the world revolves around her, she thinks that he just wants to give her a hard time again about still being one of the girls still in the Palace and still trying to win the hand of the Prince. How Maxon never realised that America and Aspen had a history I’ll never know. Well. Obviously it is convenient for the book, but you know what I mean.
We also get to see more of America’s family as she has to go back home for a funeral and realises whilst she is there how much she has changed during The Selection.
The end of the book was full of action and was very enjoyable although I never really took to America. Maybe I’m just not the kind of women who ever enjoyed playing games and it’s hard for me to read about people behaving in this way. I could have slapped both America and Maxon any number of times throughout these 3 books. Out of all of the girls in the selection, Celeste was my favourite. . . but perhaps surprisingly, she was my favourite throughout. Yes, I know she was a spoilt bitch but at least she had something about her and gave us all a character to read about who had some balls. So can you imagine how I felt when she was murdered!
But at the end, America and Maxon of course end up together and we all rejoice and celebrate with them as of course we had no idea if Maxon was going to choose her after all. *Shocker*
I enjoyed this book more than The Elite but nowhere near as much as I had enjoyed The Selection and I will certainly be reading The Heir which is the next book but as it’s not really part of the series, I think I’m ok to leave it for a while and read something else.

Objectively this is probably a 2 star book but out of respect to my 8th grade self I'm going to bump it up one
What an amazing end to this series. All loose ends are tied up in a beautiful little bow and you just feel happy after reading this. A little sad since *spoilers* people do end up dying, but it feels like a battle won at the end. I have loved this series from the beginning (I chose the first book solely based on the beautiful cover) and I recommend it to anyone who likes YA fiction set in a dystopian society. It is a futuristic Bachelor for royals <3
