I'm definitely underwhelmed....

I feel like this would have been a trilogy that I would have loved if I had read it after Twilight or something like that. Because it's not that I don't like the story and I actually find the concept of it really cool, but because I'm becoming more of an 'experienced reader' I just feel like it was missing something.

The plot isn't that exciting and it's not one of those books that you just can put down. It's quite predictable and some of their 'problems' could have been solved after book two. I honestly feel like if the 3 books would've been combined into 1 big book, it would be much more exciting and would've avoided all the stalling and dragging of the plot.

That being said, I liked just fine, I just don't have any strong feelings about it. I don't hate it nor do I loved it. (but I have a feeling that my 15 year old self would have die hard loved it ;))

Probably my favorite book of the series (also loved The Selection) because of all the Maxon and America moments ahhh

This was WAY better than the elite and im glad! I just can say that I really loved this, i loved the Plot, the romance, MAXON. My heart was physically hurting (like really for real i almost whimpered) while reading the last chapters, it was really good

5:22am..I stayed up until almost 5:30am to finish this book..and regret NOTHING. This series is easily one of my all time favorites; I love the world Kiera Cass created (mainly because I never want to see it happen to us), the shifting alliances, the romance, the characters, ahh! It was shocking, sad, happy, tears were shed (you'll need tissues).

Spoiler when Celeste America's dad, and the Queen died, I cried. Legit tears- if you had told me I would be upset Celeste was killed when I was reading The Selection..I would have laughed at you. I loved the transformation of her character though. The Queen on the other hand, really?! She was going to get her daughter! She loved America! I thought that was cruel, but if she hadn't jumped in front of the King, she wouldn't have been the same person. LOVE that the dad was a rebel..that was awesome. I was so sad when he died :(

Basically, if you haven't read this series, I really don't know what you're waiting for. Seriously, go. Now. I'm off to read The Heir :)

Damn. The series went from fair to bad to worst.
