✎ Covenant is the first book in the firm series and what a way to start off a series.I was immersed in the story from beginning to the end.

✎ Covenant had it all, found family, mystery, comedic moments, danger, funny and interesting characters, twists and obsession. And a childhood friendship and love that walked through thorns and fire to get to the fields of flowers.

✎ Wyatt and Matthias have my heart,my heart broke for Matthias after I read what he’s been through just because he loved a boy.His life as a child was not easy and then the one person he found solace and light in was ripped from him and he had to watch him suffer and be miserable.Wyatt’s story was not easy too, difficult childhood, parents that were absolutely useless, found a light at the tunnel with a friend he made and then everything came crashing down and he was “betrayed”,woke up oneday and couldn’t find the light at the end of the tunnel and he had no explanation for what happened,so hate started growing I the place the love once was.But they both found their way back to each other and the fought for their happiness and love and won.

✎ I love the found family in this book and as much as I love the Wyatt and Matthias, the Buckingham brothers were my favorite part of this book🤣🤣.They were funny, serious and their banters were comical and no matter what happened, they had each other’s back.

✎ I love the spicy scenes in this book, the sex was hot as fk when it was supposed to be and Intimacy was beautiful and emotional.

the book was good, the story was enjoyable and the writing was really good. the only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because I got a Little bored by the end, but would definitely recommend.

Cora Rose and Lark Taylor have teamed up to create a morally grey MM romance that captivated me from start to finish—so much so  I didn’t want it to end.

As St. Dismas has been controlled by "The Firm" for generations, but to most locals, they are merely a myth. However, Wyatt knows better. So when he finds himself in a desperate situation with no options left, he decides to reach out for help. And within hours, all his prayers are answered, and he finally secures enough money to provide a decent meal and the care his brother, Jackson, desperately needs.

However, Wyatt is fully aware that there will be a heavy price to pay.

But of all the things he anticipated The Firm might demand, marrying a man—especially one he despises—was not on his list of expectations.

Yet for Mattias, this presents an opportunity to bring Wyatt back into his life and his bed, which he cannot refuse and he's determined to make it happen, regardless of Wyatt’s feelings, even if that means resorting to underhanded tactics.

But Wyatt soon realises he has no choice. However, he is equally determined to make their marriage and life together as difficult as possible. After all, Mattias deserves nothing less.

And with plenty of twists and turns, morally grey moments, and spice. Not to mention complex, flawed characters. This was a fantastic introduction to an intriguing new series, and I can't wait to read more!

I would highly recommend Covenant to all!
