I liked Jeremiah and his friends. And I liked the plot but Annie's friends were kind of like the same person and at times the dialogue seemed rigid.
I aspire to be a runner, I actually have a 10K coming up in May that I really need to train harder for. I saw Breathe, Annie, Breathe around blogsphere and when it was featured on the shelf at the library I decided I needed to pick it up.

Annie was interesting. I could see how she would react to losing her boyfriend the way she did. I would also blame myself and sink into myself.
I liked the way that Annie really progressed through the book and figured out who she is and even more importantly, who she wants to be.
Jeremiah was such a cutie. I loved his character and wanted more and more of him when he wasn't in the book. I felt like he was unlike so many of the other male character I have read in other books. He was so unique and that make him really intriguing.
The book was really a testament to how hard it is to train for a marathon and what it really takes to push your body to extremes. I thought it was realistic and well done.
Gripes:
No major gripes, it was a simplistic story and easy read. I enjoyed reading it once but probably would never pick it up again.

I'm positive I read this book. I keep finding books I read that I haven't added onto goodreads. So annoying.
There really is just something about the way Miranda Kenneally writes people and their connections with friends and family that gets me every time even if the book isn’t my favourite.
Safe to say though I really enjoyed this. There was so many fun cameos of last characters that I’ve grown to love (and an appearance from a lesser liked character of mine but honestly that was kind of expected). I loved that Vanessa was part of this book as she really was one of my favourite parts of Racing Savannah.
I really felt Annie’s journey throughout this book. I love that she wasn’t instantly healed by anything and that she needed to take her time to realise that what happened to Kyle wasn’t her fault. I also loved Jeremiah and how he was with Annie throughout the book.
Also can’t help but note that my favourite two books of this series so far have been the ones that include Matt and Jeremiah Brown. Clearly I just love the Brown family.

I think Breathe, Annie, Breathe may in fact be my favorite Hundred Oaks book yet. Annie and Jeremiah are characters who instantly engage you and have you rooting for a happy ending from the beginning. A must read for me.

I hate running. It’s something I never really enjoyed, but I was interested in seeing how it was portrayed in the book. Annie didn’t like it at first either, which made her more relatable to me, and she struggles to reach her goal - a marathon.
I found the story surrounding her past and her reasons for running sad, but I was also proud of her dedication to it. What she set out to do was not easy, it’s something I don’t think I’d be able to push myself to do like she did.
Her relationship with Jeremiah was cute too. I understood her hesitation, but he was a really great guy and cared about her.
Overall, I feel like the story was slow and not much happened, but I found myself rooting for Annie throughout. It was definitely a cute story and I’m glad I got to read it!

This book was by far the best of the Hundred Oaks series so far. I adored Annie so much. Her story is not something I’ve read about and it was interesting to read about this topic. And seeing all the different characters from past books is always a plus. But I also loved how it also focused on friendship, not just the love story. And how Annie was good friends with both guys and girls. And Jeremiah was the sweetest boy on this planet. He was so understanding of Annie’s situation and didn’t push her in any way and I thought it was nice to see a guy like that. But anyway I highly recommend this series.

Miranda has done it again! This book being better than the last, Breathe, Annie, Breathe was incredible! I couldn't put it down. The will power it took Annie to run a marathon for him, it was beautiful and so inspiring. This book hit me right in the heart. It's a beautiful story of dealing with death and regrets and shows readers that you can overcome and gives motivation to those who are trying. It was beyond amazing, you over did yourself this time Miranda!

I'm a huge fan of these books, I liked the start of this but it really began to annoy me.
Certain things really bugged me: like if Jere said something inappropriate Annie would be like: why did you say that?
He'd be like: cause I'm a guy..
Ughh.
Anyway.
I still liked this but it wasn't my favourite.

The cover of this book when compared to the other books in the Hundred Oaks series is just awfully depressing. I was hoping the theme that was going in the first 4 would have been continued. It was cute and different from other books. Bah humbug. :(
Update: (10-13-14)
Despite the cover, this book was amazing. I'm pretty sure that this book gives the rest of the books in the Hundred Oaks series a run for their money. I NEED book 6 ASAP!!!
