Terrible. I had to read it for school and I just COULD NOT do it. I read 2 chapters and started trying to find a summary for the book. Ishmael is literally a side character who thinks he’s a main character. Everyone was incredibly annoying and if I owned the physical copy I would definitely rip it up.

IF U HAVE TO READ THIS FOR SCHOOL, JUST FIND CHAPTER SUMMARIES. DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS TRASH.

This was a reread waiting around 8 years! I had a really good time, it was nice going through memory lane. The book has a lot of heart, and the prose is like a fun circus act of zippy metaphors that leant the book a very strong voice. While the book has some structural issues and suffers from being a bit blokey at times, the book has such iconic scenes that stuck with me it was really exciting revisiting them again.

It had a really boring first half. Then in the second half it was a bit better.

Docela dobrá kniha pro děcka, jsem to musela přečíst na pedagogiku cause je to o šikaně.

Had to read this book for school and its not for me BUT for older children maybe in year 6 - 7 this is a great book that provides a good lesson and example with more mature jokes which makes it really enjoyable to read, I was in class reading and I accidentally laughed out loud and everybody for staring so yess 5/5 recommend but for me 3/5

I had to read this book in English earlier this year. I thought it was alright but not the best book ever
