"A silly little revenge plot isn't going to erase them. But the idea of being united instead of facing the great heaving darkness alone? That feels like it could change everything"

This was honestly SO good. It's a story about 4 strong girls - who have different beliefs, different backgrounds, different friends and even different social circles.

But one thing is the same in all their lives - The Football Team. The football team is SACRED in their school. They rule the school and everyone in it.

It isn't until one fateful moment, when they learn just how much the football team has been trying to get away with, that they decide - it's time for change.

I think so many things in this story were well done. The on-going list of dares, checked off one by one, the flashbacks and then stories of present day- tying it all together. I loved it all.

The best part, though, was a quote about Rape Culture. I'm sorry guys, it really isn't something we make up. [a:Rachael Allen|7102958|Rachael Allen|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1409910482p2/7102958.jpg] is a strong YA author that I'm looking forward to read more of.

"Subversive fluff," as Dahlia calls this, is the perfect term. Feminist af, badass, sweet, and swoony.

A really fantastic look at r*pe culture and gross men. Massive content notes for sexual assault and r*pe culture, of course, but would absolutely recommend, this is a brilliant book, incredibly hard-hitting. Difficult to read, but important. Only big criticisms are that it got hard to follow the story, particularly with jumping between time and the four girls having very similar voices; also, some more diversity would have been nice (Ana aside). Absolutely adored the relationship that came together at the very end!

This book was a pleasant surprise. I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. I'm really glad I picked it up! I've been in a slumpy reading mood so I decided to pick up something fun and fluffy and this book was that, but it also covered important issues. It covers rape culture and slut shaming and double standards. It also has a bit of diversity laced in. (It's not the best book for diversity, but it's in there, which is a nice start.)

This book is all about friendship, girl power and revenge. It goes back and forth between when they're doing the dares and when the revenge plan started and it's told in alternating perspectives between the 4 girls. While sometimes I did sometimes get kind of confused between, which perspective I was reading it was usually pretty easy to determine the difference between each girl since they were all very different. Melanie Jane was probably my least favorite, but I did warm up to her towards the end. I really liked the love interests introduced, which is surprising considering how anti-love I've been recently while reading contemporaries. I like the fact that the female friendships were the main point and didn't get overshadowed by the budding romances. Overall this book did a lot of things really well.

I would love to see this as a movie. It would be an amazing chick flick comedy, which I love. If you like contemporaries and girl power definitely pick this book up!

This book was really great. I'm super happy that I got to read it because it was one of the best books I've read. The characters were great, very dimensional and they truly felt like real people. The plot was very interesting and it kept me interested till the very end. What I loved the most about this book is that it is no way about romance (like most YA books) it's about female friendship. Girls coming together to get even with a bunch of misogynist assholes!! It was funny at some parts and serious in others which made it enjoyable (Hint: I like to read to have a good time not to suffer with characters who can't catch a break).
I only had 2 issues with this book:
-number 1: it wrongly referenced Game of Thrones (Daenerys is not a Princess!!)
-number2: it was too short! It could have been a lot longer! I want to know what happened next! Did Peyton and Rey date? Did Ana get justice? I loved it so much I didn't want it to end.
Overall, it's an awesome book and I recommend it 100%
