An inspiring look at people firmly rooting themselves in their religion, for the better. I don't think I can ever be as forgiving as these sisters.

I highly recommend "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Ten Boom. Corrie worked with the Dutch Underground to hide and relocate more than a hundred Jews during the Holocaust. Eventually, Corrie was caught and sent to a series of prisons and work camps until she was sent to Ravensbruk, an extermination camp. This book recounts her experiences from a perspective of love, faith, and courage. During a time that brought out the absolute worst in humanity, for Corrie and her friends, the Holocaust brought out the best.

"And so I learned that love is larger than the walls which shut it in." - Corrie Ten Boom

For anyone who is looking for a truly beautiful, and often heart wrenching read, "The Hiding Place" is a perfect fit.

Subbing phenomenal. It was at times incredibly challenging to hear the descriptions of the horrors that were carried out by people upon other people throughout the time of the Nazis, and yet Corrie and Bestie consistently remind us that Jesus is at work in ALL things. God bless these incredible women and their work for the kingdom.
