Light, fantasy. Good dish of ice cream, not quite a hot fudge sundae.

I too was annoyed with this book for several reasons and I'm still in the first few chapters. I hate that Sabrina feels that she can hold all the cards. She can dismiss servants, and somehow even though the Duke of Stanthorpe has been paying the wages for supposedly loyal servants. They all lie to him by not telling him about Sabrina's "children". Really?! Where is their loyalty to their employer? Furthermore, she is blunt about why she wanted a rich man, but not honest to enough to tell her husband about her other children? That she can refuse and make demands? Even though this man married her without any formal and legal binding? Utter rubbish!! If I was Gideon...I would have annulled this marriage and fired all the damn servants and moved on... TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!!

Loved this book just as much as book four in the series (which I accidentally read first). Great characters and great story. I will admit the heroine, Sabrina, annoyed me with her one TSTL heroine moment. Other than that she was great too and I'd recommend this book to any historical fiction lover.

I just didn't particularly like this book. I read it all the way through, in one day, so it wasn't so bad that I kept putting it down. I just didn't relate to the characters. I couldn't understand some of the dishonesty in the story. Some of the ways they lied to one another and he kept being dishonest in juvenile ways.

Annette Blair's UNDENIABLE ROGUE was a lovely, quick Regency romance with likable characters.

While I do wish some of the plot twists were not so obvious (to all but Gideon), I did like the resolution.

I do not think I would re-read this book, but I will definitely read the series in its entirety.

This was on its way to a four star rating. Until the mess of chapter 23. People acting foolishly, things not explained and a messy climax. I also wish that there had more information given about Gideon's youth and Sabrina's problem with the villain and Veronica. Like I said, messy.
