I love most of Meg Cabot's adult books. This one was good, it had a very Jennifer Cruise feel to it actually. It wasn't as good as any of the books in her "Boy's Series" though.

I've read most of Meg Cabot's adult and teen fiction, and I always enjoy her sense of humour and fun-but-predictable romances. However, "She Went All the Way" didn't work for me at all. It just felt clunky and clumsily-written, almost like an average fanfic written in Cabot's style. The characters' internal thoughts got very repetitive, and the way Jack constantly refers to Lou by her full name when he's thinking about her was pretty irritating. It almost felt like Meg Cabot was trying to get the word count up by writing "Lou Calabrese" every time, instead of just "Lou".

However, it's a cute enough story, though unlikely as hell, but then we're not reading these stories because they're *likely*. :-) But it's definitely the weakest of Cabot's adult novels by a long shot.

Meg Cabot has had better. But it's still Meg Cabot, and it's still a good fun. :) And jack Townsend's pretty hot.

"Success hasn't spoiled screenwriter Lou Calabrese -- it's just given her a taste for luxury. And it's put her in some bizarre situations -- like in a helicopter en route to the wilds of Alaska, sharing too-close quarters with the last man she wants to be with: Jack Townsend! Once a sexy nobody whom Lou helped make a somebody, Jack's just been dumped by a high-profile Hollywood airhead -- who's eloped with Lou's longtime love! So what else could go wrong?

Well...

Their pilot could try to shoot the most adored man in America. They could crash land in the icy, mountainous middle of nowhere. And at the worst possible moment, when survival should be their only consideration, Jack could start wondering if maybe he wasn't a wee bit too hasty for not giving this sexy screenwriter a second look -- while Lou could start noticing how superstar Jack is kind of hot after all..." (From Amazon)

Another good romantic comedy!

Writing style was good but the plot wasn't all that great.

I had high hopes for this book at first, but was a little let down by the typical love-hate relationship between the two leads. It was a little draggy and superfluous at first, with two rather mundane subplots. However, it gets better as the two leads learn more about themselves, and the ending is fitting for a story about Hollywood's finest in the filmmaking industry.

Again, this book was too predictable and lacked the effect that other chick lit books have. It was too unrealistic and although the characters had chemistry, their journey together wasn’t developed properly and I would have liked to see an unexpected twist happen.

This is the best escape book I know. It's a contemporary romance featuring Lou Calabrese, a Hollywood screenwriter whose heart is broken when her boyfriend of ten years ditches her for an actress. Jack Townsend, the hot and sarcastic star of Lou's Copkiller movies, is targeted by an unknown assassin as the two helicopter to a movie set in Alaska in winter. I love Lou Calabrese. I love the dialogue and the chemistry between Lou and Jack. When the world gets me down, I go back to this book, because I have it in a crummy old paperback that I would never throw out.

I liked it, but some parts of the story were long winded and a little boring and the story line a little predictable.
