I hated this book. So mad at myself for wasting money on a book by a guy who revels in being such a loser.

What an awful awful book. Very few of the stories are actually funny. The majority of the stories are just too mean spirited, gross and horrible to find ANY humor in them. He is such a jerk and treats people like garbage. He justifies treating them so horribly because they knew what they were getting into which is not an excuse for his behavior. It was really hard for me to get through and finish this book because of how much it disgusted me. I still can't wrap my mind around how so many people can look up to such a despicable person. In my opinion, getting drunk and laid all the time is such a waste of a life. I would NOT recommend this book.

All I'm gunna say about this ridiculousness is this: if you don't have a dirty mind or sense of humor, this book is NOT for you. Now, I am usually easily offended, but I was told what I was getting into before I read it, so I read with a grain of salt, and I laughed with my whole body. Yes, Tucker Max is going to hell. But before hand he will make a lot of people laugh, offend a lot of people, and spread a lot of herpes. But at least, like I said, he'll burn in hell.

I forgot how immature and stupid this is. My teenage self thought it was great.

A misogynist consumes obscene amounts of alcohol, destroys other people's property, and sleeps with women whom he rates on a star system, then writes about it on his website for the world to read. He is actually proud of himself for doing this, and even more amazingly, claims to have many admirers. I gave it an extra star for the humorous parts, but generally this book made me severely depressed because people like this really do exist.

I'm glad I could borrow this book and not give one penny towards this mans grotesque habits. If I read this book pretending it wasn't based on true events (which I had to do) I found it mildly Humorous. If I took at at face value it was awful. I was both angry at Tucker for being a complete douche bag and at the women he used. Come on women! You know better than that... Ugh! Face palm moment for females everywhere.

This guy really is a jerk. He gives fair warning on the back of the book...but I did not anticipate how much I would alternate between hating and liking him. A majority of the things he does in the book and how he treats women is appalling.

He's relatable. Unfortunately, I have a few male friends that are just like him. Fortunately, I have never dated a guy like him!

Some of his stories were hysterical, some kind of boring. A few were totally unbelievable and I am sure that he was more than exaggerating in many of them. All though some were completely outlandish, they were still entertaining. I really don't care if it really happened, as long as I am being entertained. I will admit that several parts of the book made me laugh out loud. I liked the chapter on Vegas! I think the only thing that sort of redeems his actions, is he knows that he's being an ass. He doesn't necessarily apologize, but he owns up to it. I can respect that.

This book is completely over the top. If you are easily offended, you will not like it. If you don't mind reading brutally honest stories about alcohol abuse, road trips, picking up girls, sleeping with girls, and general debauchery, you will probably like it. I laughed out loud when I read this book after picking it up at Urban Outfitters in San Francisco a few years ago. Yes, I was that a#^@e who kept laughing on the plane. The stories mainly involve twenty-somethings getting ridiculously drunk and doing stupid things. As a former bartender in the land of drinking - aka, Wisconsin - I find the stories are almost all believable, albeit embellished through good story telling. Tucker Max obviously doesn't take himself too seriously, and neither should you when you're reading this book.
