I loved the characters Lucian and Gypsy so much!
I was gripped by this heart wrenching, steamy and unique story!
It was written very beautifully, I felt emotions with and for the characters. That’s the talent of this author, I love when I’m so absorbed that I feel like it’s real.
It’s an unpredictable, complex and completely entertaining story.
There’s secrets, deals, plenty of manipulation and maneuvering.
There’s plot twists and shockers. I didn’t guess all the twists and I love that so much.
An emotional and beautiful journey that had me feeling every emotion. It’s an unconventional journey to love and romance.

This is up there amongst my favourite reads of the year - it really should be top of your TBR list

So these were some of my thoughts when I was reading this......

"Oh my word this isn't the book I expected. It is soooo much more. There are touches of dark but even more there is so much depth of feeling and emotion."

"I've been naughty, there are some pretty big hints at a certain type of heartbreak, so I couldn't resist skipping ahead to the epilogue.
It's been years since I read the last few pages but I had to do it for The Girl and her Ren, and I had to do it again for this book. Even though in many ways nothing major has happened in the story, this book has my emotions in free fall."

"I feel anxious and on edge in only the way an amazingly written book will do."

I read into the early hours of the morning to finish this, because I quite simply could not put it down. I'm not sure there were any emotions that this book didn't trigger - it left me with one of the biggest book hangovers I've had in a long time.

Gypsy was my 'perfect' heroine. I have such a soft spot for a tough-as-nails, dragged herself out the gutter, take-no-prisoners woman that hides her brokenness so well. Her life has been really tough, she has made many mistakes and she doesn't trust easily at all. There were so times that my heart broke for Gypsy, she is a girl that so deserves a HEA. Lucian is such an enigma for a chunk of this story, but we slowly get to know the measure of the man, and eventually the word 'hero' really and truly does apply to him. I loved this couple both as individuals and as a pair even when they dragged me to hell and back.

The book has so many different phases, there is darkness, bliss, absolute devastation, hope, suspense and growth, not necessarily in that order! The writing touches your soul and this is definitely a story that will stay with you long after so many others will have blown away in the dust of time. The blurb only gives a hint at the magnificence of this story, but telling you more would only spoil the joy of discovering it for yourself.

I'm saying no more other than - read this, just read it.

I love A. Zavarelli, and this just adds to my admiration for her writing! Sin City Salvation takes place in Vegas, where we meet Gypsy, a twenty three year old con artist who is looking after her younger sister. When blackmailed into marriage by Lucian, she is spitting fire and doing anything she can to make life miserable, but knows to protect her sister and their secret, she has to remain in the marriage. Lucian is an older man, and has set his sights on Gypsy. But not as you would think! He is set to make her life better. But is love in the cards for this mismatch? With darkness surrounding both of them, light is at the end of the tunnel. Zavarelli can write a story completely captivating me. These two characters are extremely flawed, but when pushed together lets us see the how love can win. Gypsy is an intriguing character. With a checkered past and a secret sure to surface, she is full of fear, yet is confident and full of spunk. Lucian too has his secrets, but his heart is in the right place, though circumstances sometimes make you wonder if his decisions are sound. On borrowed time, and both having pasts catch up with them, we are on a fast, action packed adventure and a true love to last a lifetime!

Narration by Tracy Marks and Aaron Shedlock is spot on for this story. Marks always delivers an incredible performance. She gives Gypsy that frantic feel and as the story progresses, we can feel her relax, just with Marks's voice. Shedlock oozes that self confident lawyer that Lucian has. The alpha man is full force, yet has compassion in the undertones. It's the perfect partnership for this couple.

Wow just wow!!!😭😭

There's just not enough word's to express how absolutely beautiful this story was. This lady is so amazing with her word's as I'm writing this I have tears in my eyes after finishing this book. I always tell myself don't read those freaking emotional book's at work it just causes people to look at you strange when your sniffing and with tears in your eyes and damn if this book isn't one of them. I absolutely love Ashleigh's writing she can pull the emotions out of your soul if she so desired with her word's and let me tell you this book hit every one of my emotion's oh my was this book sooo hard to put down. I'm so glad I did read this book even though it broke my heart and put it back together again. This is one book that you won't want to miss. I would definitely recommend reading it you will not be disappointed in the least.

A Zavarelli’s storytelling strengths lie in fast-paced, intriguing plot lines and unique characters. This book showcased just that! When I first started the book, the hero (an attorney) and heroine (a con artist) were both morally ambiguous and somewhat of a mystery to me, which I really enjoyed. Their individual growth and their growth in their romantic relationship throughout the story was written well. Interesting side characters? Yes, please! Ace, Birdie and Emmanuel were my favorites 🥹.

Certain elements of the plot were predictable, but other parts were not. I didn’t love the hero’s nickname for the heroine - it seemed out of place with his characterization and their relationship dynamic.

I’d recommend this book to anyone that’s in a reading slump because I couldn’t put this one down!
