I wish I had this book when I got my ADHD diagnosis a few years ago. It contains a lot of practical information that will help newly diagnosed people better understand their ADHD and offers some advice on how to live with it. It can be really overwhelming, especially as an adult, to find out you've had ADHD you're whole life. There's a bit of grieving that happens as you put the piece together. But this book is a nice, gentle reminder that accommodating and accepting yourself as you are is so important. I would definitely buy this book for any friends or family who get diagnosed late in life.

Thank you to NetGalley and Chronicle Books for the ARC!

BEAUTIFUL doodles and illustrations. I love how simple the language and layout of the book is. However it’s your bog standard self help book - I already knew everything in this but that’s because adhd was a topic of my hyper focus a few years ago and I learnt too much.

Would be more helpful to some new to their diagnosis or new to ADHD itself. I found I knew a lot about the topics covered so I ended up getting bored and skimming the rest to see if there were any tips I could adopt.
