Very quick read. I really enjoyed it!!! It showed how actively avoiding trauma in relationships can stop the healing and growth! Loved the plot and the redemption! Both characters were flawed and I loved them both

The main characters got on my nerves with the way they both acted. It wasn’t too bad and I understood why for the plot.
A solid 3.5 for me!
This was a good read but I feel like it actually NEEDED to be longer. The authors note said Tally would work your nerves and the TWs explain she is actively healing but I don’t feel like I got enough explanation as to why. I understand the abandonment issues with her mom but it has some holes. How did we go from doting mom taking our kid to the library every week, to disappearing, to sending this weird letter years later? Also HOW did this thing with Lucas happen? If it’s such a major part of her trauma and rules, why didn’t we hear more about it.
I loved Pierre! He was solid from the beginning. I love how he took care of Tally, even how he cared for Celeste and his family. He just seemed like such a nice and humble man. Like a for real grown man, the kind we should marry in real life! I appreciate that he was willing to love Tally through her trauma and his patience is unmatched. Even when he lost his patience a time or two he still came through!
Overall this was a good quick read but I definitely think it needed more background details throughout.

Cute Story
“Untouchable” by Shon was a cute story. I did enjoy the plot and the characters even though they were very frustrating at times. This story started off strong, but it fizzled out at the middle to the end. I found things to be extremely repetitive. Many scenes did nothing to move the plot along. This story also had some grammatical errors and the large spacing between the paragraphs was very odd and took some time getting used to. Tallulah and her dang rules drove me nuts. I had a hard time connecting with her character. By the time the reasons behind her rules and abandonment issues were revealed, I was pretty disinterested. While I wasn’t a fan of Tallulah, I did love me some Pierre. He was everything! At times I felt he was being a fool for Tallulah, but the heart wants what it wants. I loved his personality and the way he loved and doted on Tallulah. Overall this was a solid read. I felt that it honestly would have been better off as a novella. I’m looking forward to reading more from Shon.
