things i didnt like that almost made me give this book 4 stars instead of 5:
nasuada: i freaking hate this girl. shes so into herself its ridiculous. even when roran is bleeding shes all hey servant. cut up your shirt and help my good friend roran. bitch you cut up your own dang shirt. youre the one constantly cutting off the sleeves anyway so everyone can see how tough your scars look. im over her. for reals. she got alot better after she was tortured, but i was saddened to see murtaugh so interested in her. youre better than that dude. and wtf was with her at the end trying to do everything galbatorix was doing only instead of "slavery" she said "peace"? still the same practise!
elva: redeemed herself in this one. he wasnt as demanding, and she just did what she was told.
arya: really? arya became a rider? didnt she spend three whole books telling us how old she was and that no one could possibly understand her? i just thought it was a cheap trick that she suddenly got to be queen and kill shruikan and the other shade and be the daughter to the first queen and the best swordsman in all the land and an ambassador and close friends with eragon and rider of both firnen and saphira and of course, a dragon rider. just really? you know what i thought would have been clever? if ismira had been the green dragon's rider. because how cool.
orrin: really dude? you ewre so quirky, and now your a total douche. which is weird. i feel like paolini forgot he had already made a character for him and made a new one. orrin was so freaking stupid. like it just made no sense.
christopher paolini: i dont like the way he talks. haha i mean in the book its fabulous (except for when he gets carried away with pointless information he thinks were rapt with) but like at the end when he talks as himself, he just sounds haughty. and dude, your parents own a publishing company. i dont doubt that your writing is good, but at the same time, you started writing this thing when you were like twelve. and you had the time cuz you were homeschooled and and schooling because your parents actually know what theyre doing. so dont be so impressed with yourself that you were published. its just the fact that bothers me. like i said, even if his parents werent publishers, he still would have been published. but everyone makes a big deal about his age. if you give anyone an opportunity, they can do things at a young age. and it wasnt his descision. so thats what i have to say about that.
what i did like: pretty much everything else. the dragon eggs, the spell eragon cast on galbatorix, and the suicide of galbatorix. i liked how murtaugh turned then he and thorn went to recover. i like how everything wasnt solved: like angela, or the new place to train dragons established. i hope he writes more in this same world, becuase it is a good one. i like how roran did not die. i thought he was going to die the entire time. it was so stressful but a good kind of stress that wins your character glory. becuase no doubt by the end, roran is the most powerful person in alagaesia.
i thought there would have been a few alternatives though, but in the end i agree with everything he chose to go with (excluding arya becoming a rider.)
i thought birgit would take her revenge by making them name their daughter after her or their son after quimby, which i doubted because both names are really lame.
i also thought after shruikan was released from galbatorix, that he would kill galbatorix himself, in punishment for enslaving him and ridding him of the opportunity to bond with his real rider.
i thought that maybe katrina would kill galbatorix. it also ran through my head of roran, elva, and arya.
i thought arya and eragon would have gotten together at the end, but im glad they didnt. becuase the hero cant always get the girl. but im also glad that saphira and firnen got together. i kept thinking he was too young for her but he was just in his shell longer. they are the same age.
i thought maybe arya would name her dragon faolin after her lost love.
but yeah that might be everything :] overall i really enjoyed it. the ending was a bit longer than it needed to be, but i couldnt stop thinking about it and read it whenever i could. for its ideas and merit, i give it a 5.

Was soll da bitte noch groß kommen?

I thought he wrapped it up quite neatly in this last installment of the cycle. There were bits that made me laugh out loud. The style is consistent with the previous three books, which didn't bother me. I did wish there was a bit more explanation when he referred to things that had happened in previous books (such as the prophecy), since it's been so long I couldn't quite remember the details of what happened. However, he did a relatively good job making this book strong enough to stand on its own.

this was a good conclusion to the series. the author wrapped everything up and not quickly so you didn't have that wow that was a quick fix ending. Yet it still left you wishing
