this book literally made me mad. i like lynns painters other books so i cant figure out why this one was just so ... not it? olivia didnt feel like an actual person or fully realised character, colin kind of had just no substance. the third act break up and the getting back together was so juvenile and made no sense. the only redeemable bit was the text conversations. they had obvious chemistry then. just unfortunate that their personalities over text did not match with their off text personalities at all.

Alright, so I just checked and I read better than the movies 3 years ago!..... And I gave it 5 stars, it's a young adult romance and it's one of my favs
And excuse me but Lynn Painter did it again. This is one of her adult romances but oh my gosh I just couldn't put it down! The banter between Colin and Liv was so good cause they would make fun of each other and bicker and that's my love language for real.
So this was by no means like a super deep meaningful story but I had the most fun ever while reading it. Time to read all of Lynn Painters books now!

Lynn Painter is always an immediate buy. Did I read this out of order? Yes. But it’s not that important! I liked the second one more however this book was great!

This was cute and I don't regret reading it at all, but there were quite a few times as I read it that I caught myself having to go back and reread a paragraph to figure out how I missed something. The author moved the book at such a fast past that it felt like I was missing things constantly, even though I was reading as I usually do.

Perfecto para una lectura rápida. Puede ser un poco pesado, yaque el romance no empieza hasta la mitad (el verdadero romance) pero me ha encantado. ¡Gran trabajo por parte de la escritora! Amo a la prota con todo mi corazón, no es la típica chica perfecta, sino es todo lo contrario. VERY GOOD BOOK, RECOMEND IT A LOOOOOT! es perfecto para practicar inglés (yo lo he leído en ese idioma)

tengo sentimientos encontrados. me voy a dejar guiar por el que me gustó el resto del libro, pero estuve a punto de bajarle 2 estrellas solo por el final. aparte de eso me pareció lindo, divertido etc, nada memorable pero una buena lectura!! amé better than the movies y como con todas las autoras de las que solo leí un libro, entré a este medio recelosa pero me terminó copando mucho.
ahora. la resolución.
sabes lo que me rompió mucho las pelotas de la resolución? que más allá de que ella ok, recibe confirmación de que el chabón está tan enamorada de ella como ella de el, no resolvieron todas las cagadas que se mandó el. hacia el final, parecía que el chabón no hacía más que embarrarla y hacerse el boludo. el final fue super apresurado. no me pareció que tenga sentido que de una escena para otra esté todo olvidado, más después de que ella se entera de que el la describió a su coworker como "batshit crazy with a truckload of issues". yo personalmente aparecería al día siguiente presa por incendiaria.
yo le pongo tres estrellas (estaba a punto de ponerle 4!!!) así que me voy a comprometer en 3, pero en realidad es 1=final y 4=resto del libro
