A great light and fun read. This 2nd book follows potty mouth Nina who just doesn't know when to shut up. But she has a big heart under her tough exterior.

The book is filled with a handful of great quotes. And a good laugh. I love dry sarcastic and random humor, and like the first book in this series, this one kept the laughs coming.

At this point I love Marty, Nina & Wanda. These gals and their stories would make for a pretty good sitcom, I think.

If you're looking for something fun and light, this is a good one to add to your list. Just don't expect too much. The series doesn't take itself seriously and neither should we. Take it for what it is: good silly fun, and you won't be disappointed. Its not heavy or loaded with a heavy plot. Its a light read that'll leave you grinning.

Another good one in the series. Nina was a bit whiny in this I wish she'd have accepted things a bit earlier and focused more on her powers, but overall, still good.

I didn't make it past page 39. I was looking for a light, easy read. I generally like paranormal romance. However, I do not like authors who think it is in any way appropriate to use "retarded" as an insult.

Sounded and looked like a chick lit with vampires in it and I was eager to sink my teeth into the audio book. The fact that I finished it, is shocking because I did not enjoy it. It was way to much for my try and wasn't for me fun or entertaining. I will not continue on with the series, if I don't suffer from a temporarily memory loss and pick another book in the series.

Did not finish ending at the beginning of chapter 4. I just found it too shallow and silly and I honestly couldn't get into. Maybe not reading the first was an issue but I couldn't connect with the characters either. The main (whose name I kept forgetting) was just unlikeable.

I was not disappointed! This was just as good as the first! I look forward to reading others in the series!

I didn't actually finish this book. The description sounded cute with a great potential to be funny, but it turns out "funny" means "bitchy girls with bad personalities saying things." Not my cup of tea. Didn't like any of the characters enough to keep reading. Sad.

Cute

This series is typically entertaining. Beyond the werewolves and vampires, the actual lives these women lead seem somehow very real and unreal at the same time. Nina in particular bothers me. Like she's a poor girl from a tough neighborhood but lives alone in a $900 dollar a month apartment before she gets her first real (non-minimum wage type) job. Furthermore her introspection happens way too much and she changes her mind way too quickly for her personality type. I enjoy the series but this one bugs me.
