K.A. Tucker gave all of us Wolf Hotel fans exactly what we have been craving since we last read from her popular Wolf Hotel series: a chance for Ronan Lyle to shine like the schmexy beast he is!!! The book is separated into two parts: the first from before the Wolf Hotel series starts and then the second from after it ends and to me that was beyond clever. It's like Tucker filled in all the missing pieces of the hows and whys of Ronan's decision to go to Alaska and what his life is like once he comes back to Florida. He's still a bit of a player but underneath all the steamy hijinks he and his buddy Connor get up to and it's a LOT, I loved that Ronan is truly a stand-up guy. Showing that once he commits to someone, whether it's for a week or 4 years, when he says he's with you, you are the only one he sees. And for those lucky enough to enjoy whatever dedicated time they get with him, they truly are better for it.
There is a ton of steam involving Ronan, and for Connor, and holy moly I was there for every salacious moment. Tucker combines all those passionate times with great humor as the banter between these fast friends, including Connor's sister Ryan where they have their own kind of love language, had me grinning often. Even laughing out loud a bit especially where Connor's wild nature is concerned. I really enjoyed getting to know Ronan that much better as his sense of decency does actually supersede his need for conquests, much to Connor's chagrin. We get a glimpse into his heart as the book starts with his broken by his ex-girlfriend Tasha as he helps heal the equally broken-hearted Ryan with a week of no-strings-attached affection. Giving both Ronan and his secondary roommate exactly what they both need to move on.
With part two, it's really interesting that Ronan is once again odd man out wrt his love life as he is again nursing another broken heart. But at least this time, his Red, has remained a good friend and helps him with a new position in Mermaid Beach, Florida at her husband Henry Wolf's new resort. This new chance becomes quite the tangled mess within a few weeks as an abutter of this new resort not only knocks him for a loop but seemingly captures his heart's attention when he least expected it. In fact, Sloane Parker may just be the most formidable opponent of all the women Ronan has ever known and with the way the book ends and a big secret dropped, I can only imagine how complicated and insane things will get in the next installment.
Overall, this is a book that captured my attention from the very first pages and kept me glued to my Kindle until I was finished. Tucker's writing is addictive and always top-notch. I fell hard and fast once more for Ronan and despite all that he has endured when it comes to matters of heart, his sense of humor is always intact and he never lets a chance to poke a bit at Henry when he can. In fact, all the secondary characters, especially those who are a part of Sloane's world, are WONDERFUL! Even the ones who should be tossed in the ocean for good. Each plays their part well and what you get is a colorful crew that will undoubtedly continue to have strong opinions, and give all kinds of misguided advice when the proverbial shite hits the fan. And there is no doubt it will!
I will hold on tight as we wait for the next book in this new series since I'm hopeful others will get their stories told as well once Ronan's is sorted. It's wicked great fun from start to finish with that added bit of seriousness when needed. And again, when Ronan is hooked on a woman, there is nothing remotely amusing about how well he takes care of her both in and out of the bedroom, boat, kitchen etc. The man is THE very definition of s3x on a stick and my lust for him is out of this world incredible.
5 huge stars!

“If you think that’s messy, wait until I come all over your face.”
Oh. I missed Ronan… and Connor… and Henry. It was so wonderful being back in the Wolf Hotel world.
The first part of this book was a reworked novella that had previously been released. I had not read the original work so I can’t compare the two, but it is Ronan before he goes to Alaska!
The second part is all new drama post Abbi and where our broken hearted boy is now. It sets the stage for a whole new series, and it leaves off with quite the juicy cliffhanger.
I am still hoping we get a Connor story and I really hope it is with a very specific character.
I can’t wait for more from this series. It was such a fun start and I can’t wait for more mayhem to ensue.
Thank you K.A Tucker and VPR for an advance reader copy.
This book is everything and more! Great summer read with ALL the spice. I really enjoyed the different povs as well as learning all the characters before the drama started. I seriously can't wait for the second book!
Also if you haven't read the first Wolf Hotels series- it's not necessarily a requirement to read this but it's so freaking good, I'm recommending you read it anyways 🤪
Thank you KA Tucker and Valentine PR for the ARC 🫶🏻

I didn’t knew what to expect since I didn’t read the Wolf hotel series, but Ronan definitely made things interesting in this book.
This book is somehow written in two parts, at first I didn’t understand why or what, but it is something else for sure. I personally could’ve read this story without the first part, but I can’t say it annoyed me either. It was just too focused in spicy scenes and for me those scenes are not important at all, so I can’t comment on that part.
The second part though it was the best, it kept me entertained and I wanted to know more! I need to know more! Sloane is such a great female character and I love how natural she is. I think Ronan and Sloane have chemistry and they blend together nicely. I would’ve loved to see more of them in this book, but hopefully they will have more scenes in the next one. 🤞 Overall a great romance, I can’t wait for the next one. 😊

Let me just start off by saying THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE! I simply can’t wait for the next book!
I’m so incredibly happy to be back in the Wolf Hotel world! I’ve missed these characters so much. While this book is about our boy Ronan, it was nice getting small bits of Abbi and Henry too.
KA Tucker has such a wonderful way of writing that really brings not only her characters to life but the setting as well. She makes you feel as though you are right there on Mermaid Beach. I can totally picture each and every spot, shop, business and character.
Ronan- Playboy, or reformed Playboy…well, at least trying to be, lands a spot helping manage The Wolf Hotel on Mermaid Beach.
Sloane- Has lived in Mermaid Beach her whole life and is doing her best to keep her family’s legacy alive. When Wolf Hotel comes to town she’ll do whatever it takes to stop them.
I don’t want to give away any spoilers so I’ll just say I’m super happy to have received this ARC but now I need the next book like I need air to breathe!!

We’ve been asking for Ronan’s story and K.A. DELIVERED! This book was everything I was hoping for and I’m already chomping at the bit for more.
THOUGHTS 💭
🧜♀️ I love that the author took the Ronan novella and wove it (including some new content) into the start of this book!
🧜♀️ The book was split into “Before Abbi” and “After Abbi,” which brought us back into this world nicely. In the “Before Abbi” section, you get Ronan’s origin story and learn how he and Connor met. If you’ve read and loved The Wolf Hotel series, you’ll know how amazing these boys and this world are.
🧜♀️ Reading Ronan’s story feels like coming home and seeing close friends after a long time; they’re familiar in the best way.
🧜♀️ Ronan is supposed to be on his best behavior with his new upper-level management job and Sloane is the ONLY person who is off-limits to him; so, of course, Ronan wants her.
🧜♀️ The spice… my goodness, THE SPICE. And Ronan’s mouth. And the f-it moment. 🔥
🧜♀️ I loved learning about Sloane and her family’s legacy at Mermaid Beach.
🧜♀️ THAT CLIFFHANGER! This book is just coming out and I’m already ready for book 2 in this spinoff series.
Thanks so much to K.A. Tucker and Valentine PR for the ARC of this book!

Omg Roman's story!!! Okay, so if you haven't read The Wolf Hotel series I would highly recommend picking that up first so that you can understand and appreciate Ronan. Also, this book does have two parts, before Abbi and after Abbi. This definitely gives you more insight to before the wolf hotel series and now current Ronan. There are so many layers to him and I love how much more flushed out he is and how much more we know about his character. Now enter Sloane! She's gorgeous and trouble for Ronan but who doesn't love a little bit of what they shouldn't have. What a mess this series is about to be. I can't wait! There's so much going on, so many ways this is going to go and I'm all here for it. The cliffhanger! Omg! Just saying. It's about to get really crazy at Mermaid Beach and I'm so ready for it!
Haven’t read the Wolf Hotel series yet? Babe, drop everything and fix that ASAP. You need to meet Ronan—equal parts bad boy and ride-or-die bestie—before his redemption story kicks off. 🖤
This book gives us two sides of Ronan:
✨ “Before Abbi” (a reimagined version of the Ronan novella)
🌊 “After Abbi,” where he’s promoted to manage the newest Wolf Hotel in Mermaid Beach…
But there’s one rule: do not mess with the mysterious “Sea Witch” next door. 👀
Ronan & Connor = chaotic frat bros living their best lives—parties, girls, and mayhem. But underneath it all? Ronan is done with meaningless hookups and quietly craving something real 😮💨
The Henry + Ronan banter?? GOLD. And those Henry & Abbi cameos?? A gift. 🎁
That cliffhanger ending?? I’m screaming. Bring on the next book!! 🙌
Manifesting a Belinda & Connor story too 😍

Release Me by K. A. Tucker
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you, K. A. Tucker and Valentine PR, for this ARC!
This is my first K. A. Tucker book, and although my friend suggested I start with another of her works, I jumped at the chance to get an ARC of this one because it sounded like such a good story—and I wasn’t wrong!
The story is introduced as the beginning of a new series, and although reading the Wolf Hotel series beforehand isn’t necessary, I still enjoyed it. I did miss some background information related to Ronan's past that was mentioned, but it didn’t detract from the storyline.
I loved Ronan; he exudes incredible confidence and can make you melt with his words! In Part One, I wasn’t too keen on him and Ryan, but their dynamic added depth and introduced us to his new best friend and fun-time enabler, Connor.
As the story progressed, especially in Part Two, we see Ronan actively trying to figure out what he wants in life, both inside and outside of the Wolf Hotel. His banter with Henry was fantastic and makes me want to explore the other series.
I admire Sloane for her strength and determination to keep her family business running. When she meets Ronan, the tension between them jumps off the pages—it was perfect! Her relationship with Frank is sweet, almost brotherly, and I’m curious to see if we’ll get more of that in Book Two.
I flew through this story, eagerly anticipating when the shoe would drop, as everything was going so well—until the cliffhanger! I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!
