I really enjoyed this one! If you’d are a lover of sports, enemies to lovers, bad boy/good girl, opposite attracts romances with some spice you will not be disappointed!! I loved Saint and Lennon! They had great chemistry and banter! I was hooked pretty quickly with this one! I didn’t want to put it down! This book will have you chuckling in parts and feeling the feels in others. There were so much that these characters had to overcome that I was glad that there was no unnecessary drama. Overall a great read that I definitely recommend!

What an emotional but steamy read. An enemies to lovers that’ll have you pout and bite your lip.
Saint and Lennon are polar opposites but they both have their fair share of family trauma. When they cross paths on the ice, they immediately butt heads. The perfect spoiled prude-ish princess and the rugged, tatted bad boy… but what will happen when they use each other to get back at someone?
Highly recommend adding this one to your TBR. It’s one steamy hockey romance. Saint, my heart was breaking for him, but dang does that boy have a mouth on him. SWOON.

Give me a Maren Moore book and i’ll be quiet for the remainder of the day. I don’t know what she put in this book but the wait was worth it! Saint and Lennon were the perfect couple to start this spin off series and I ate it up. The enemies to lovers to the sexual tension you could cut. I loved how it felt more than a romance book I was able to get so much out of the book. Saint has his own problems with his parents, and Lennon had her own as well. They came together to fake date, but ended up needing each other in many ways. They both worked through their issues and it was truly well done! The spice was spicing as well, these characters were just well done!

Falling for a bad boy like Saint Devereaux was not on Lennon’s card this year but there is always something about those bad boys that just suck us right in their orb. Lennon’s life has been meticulously planned out for her which is expected from her family, but now she is wanting to take back her own life especially when she starts to see the façade her parents are hiding behind. What better way to really make them mad than to have the school’s playboy without a care attitude Devereaux pretend to be her boyfriend? Saint is determined to stay focused on his hockey, make it big, and get him and his mother out and away from his father. He wasn’t expecting this fiery person to get under his skin so, what started as a revenge plan ended in something more, but once Lennon figures it all out what will happen to them then? I loved this story because their back-and-forth banter kept me grinning and seeing Saint’s walls slowly come down was epic.

This was a fun, flirty, and easy read that gave me major throwback vibes to those classic bad boy meets good girl romances and honestly? I was here for the nostalgia!
While it wasn’t groundbreaking, it still gave me those comfort-read feels. You’ve got the brooding, tattooed, secretly soft bad boy and the sweet, kind-hearted girl who somehow brings out the best in him. The chemistry was cute, and the banter was light and entertaining!
I enjoyed the dynamic between Saint and Lennon and how their connection slowly developed. But I did find myself wishing we got to see more of Saint’s hockey matches or Lennon’s skating life. Those elements were mentioned but not really explored and I think they could have added more depth to the story.
The book definitely brought the spice, with some scenes that were very well-written and swoon-worthy. That said, the plot itself felt a little underdeveloped in places. While I had a good time reading it, I was hoping for a bit more substance or tension outside of the romance.

I had a wonderful time reading this one, as I do with all of Maren's books. They are always filled with moments that make me swoon and feel deeply for the characters. Saint and Lennon's story is no exception.
The banter and teasing between them were truly fantastic. I loved how they play into tension and frustration while still having more lighthearted moments. They complemented each other perfectly.
Seeing them work together to take down some shitty dads was fantastic. You can see a lot more of Maren in this book, and its rawness was refreshing. I felt a connection to Lennon on a deeper level than I typically do with MCs. As such, do keep in mind the trigger warnings for this book, as they are very relevant.
This book does contain a good bit of open-door spice. If that is not your thing, I suggest skipping this book (and any of Maren's).
I received this book as an ARC from Valentine PR. My review is honest and voluntary.

Saint Devereaux is the baddest of the bad boys. This book follows Saint as he charms Lennon Rousseau, socialite and daughter of the man who ruined his father's life. They are complete opposites but find common ground when they have to share their ice time. His little revenge plan makes her one rule hard to follow - don't fall for the bad boy. I really felt for Saint and his childhood and the family trauma that he has endured and is enduring. I would recommend checking trigger warnings before picking up this book. Thank you the author, and Valentine PR for the gifted eARC. All opinions are my own.
