Let me start by saying that I love Kate Stewarts' books. Love them. But Loving the White Liar...was not for me. Don't get me wrong. It is a good read. But it just wasn't what I had hoped it would be, or maybe wanted it to be...?

Beautiful, real and raw!

Written from the heart (and personal experience), Kate Stewart delivers a beautiful and heart-wrenching story about love which I couldn't put down. Jayden and Hillary have an undeniable connection but Jayden's ADHD might be the thing that tears them apart ... or brings them closer together.

Automatic 1-click

Kate Stewart is now an automatic 1-click for me. I just found found her last fall with the release of Drive (a TOP read of 2017 for me!) and then Sweeping the Series. These 3 books are very different, yet have one thing in common- Kate’s Stewart’s phenomenal writing.

ADHD is usually thought about in regards to just the hyperactivity piece. Jayden shows us there is so much more to life as ADHD- and Hillary shows us how to live with it.

This is a beautiful, compelling, emotional story that bares it all - the good and the impossible.

“It was real. It was love. It was happiness. It was us...”

There are not enough words for me to describe how much I love this book! This is a top favorite of 2015 for me and also going on my all-time favorites list. This is an incredibly unique story about an amazing woman named Hilary who falls in love with a man named Jayden. Jayden is sexy, smart, funny, and he has ADHD. Going into this book, I knew of ADHD, or what I thought it was but I never realized the struggle that people who deal with this actually go through. This is a true love story, a romance where a couple has to work at their relationship. Everything isn't sunshine and cupcakes for this couple, it is as close to real as it gets. Hilary is one of my favorite heroines because of her strength and her humor. The witty banter between these two was hilarious. This book had me laughing out loud one minute and making me want to yell in frustration the next. I loved these characters, I loved the supporting characters, I loved the story, and I loved the writing. This book was so good I immediately want to go back and reread it because I'm not ready to say goodbye to these characters. This is a book I will recommend again and again and I highly recommend it. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!

4 Loving the White Liar Stars

I buddy read this with a book buddy. And something occurred to me while listening. I always hear about people having book triggers and I totally get that but I have never had one before now.

I don’t have a bad childhood or tragic past. Sure I have had to deal with sickness and death of family members but those never gave me a book trigger before. But this book dealt with a man who has ADHD. Who once was able to make his own choices, choose to go off the medication.
Now I have a son who is ADHD. So it brought back so very much of the before and after and even now what we do in our house to make it easier for him.

I was shocked at how real it was how much truth there is to this book. Either the writer has firsthand knowledge or has done a lot of research because the scene with Hilary and his doctor was like I was back in the doctors seat learning all I could about ADHD and what I as a mother could do to make life as easy as possible for my son. But it was more than that it was thinking wow this could be him dealing with all these issues as a grown man in a relationship.

So over all I am glad I read the book; it put a lot into perspective. This book will be with me for a long time I can tell. That’s about all I can really say…

Great narration on the audiobook as well really brought the words to life.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*
