Rereading the tales from my youth,
Brings me lots of cheer,
This once begins the fun with warmth,
Four feathers are needed here.

I really enjoyed this, but I was left wanting more. I remember trying again and again to read this when I was younger, but I"d always wanted to get to the next books in the series. As an adult, I'm able to appreciate it more and power through the parts I consider a little bit dull. But since it's a children's book, I think it might be harder to contend with stories that have a faster pace to them. The length isn't too bad. Overall, it's pretty enjoyable. I can't wait to finish the series again, since I forget a lot of key elements.

One of the few children novels that I personally find can hold up on its own to legs and not seem to force its storyline or characters down the readers throat. Also, not think that children are stupid, too young or immature to handle different types of themes and content.
