Sabe quanto tudo  que tem de dar errado realmente dá errado? É o que pensa o pequeno Alexander em um dia em que ele acha que nada dá certo. Divertido, muito gostoso de ler.

Super cute, it'll make you laugh and understand exactly how Alexander feels.

Fabulous to revisit this and get to read it to someone who'd never heard it, but their parents remembered it. So I discovered it's a series. Who knew?

I love reading this book to my kids because even they have days where nothing goes right.

If you've watched one of the earlier Trevor Noah stand up shows, the oft-used phrase from this book, "I'm going to Australia!" will make you laugh all the more. He uses it satirically, poking fun at white-privilege and the threat of moving to Australia post-Apartheid in South Africa. So, ya, it cracks me up every time. I wonder if he got the idea from this book, hmmmmm....

This book is a hit with my kids and with me. I usually read it is a very whiny voice and by the end of the book, I want to move to Australia to get away from Alexander and my voice. Nevertheless, it resonates with my kids because some days are just awful and when you're little and feel everything to the Nth degree, it's nice to know that you are not alone.

I recently had to hand this book to a younger colleague who had no idea what I meant when I said "some days are like that, even in Australia".
