Life takes Nyx off course a bit, and Nate is there to help her out, get her back on track with work, and put her life in perspective on a daily basis. The two grow close, but never act on the attraction. But why? There is a lot to the story, and Claudia Burgoa knows exactly how to keep me captivated, waiting and wanting! With some twists and turns we don't see coming, it makes the listen exciting and romantic! Plus there are so many cameos from past characters, that it was like coming home to good friends. This is a fabulous story and one that should not be missed.
To make it even better are our narrators. Aaron Shedlock, always a favorite of mine climbs into the head of Nate and delivers the swooniest, most authentic and loving man! I could not get enough. He broke my heart at times and put it back together just with his voice. Virginia Rose comes on as Nyx, super confident, until she's not, able to breakdown at a moment's notice and give a realistic feel of what it's like to be in Nyx's shoes. I loved these two together creating their magic. Add in Jason Clarke, Brooke Bloomingdale, Teddy Hamilton, Liam Sanderson and Connor Brown, reprising past roles and bringing that family feel in, this could not have been a better listen.

Girlish squeals and fanning onself is a necessary method to cool off and prevent 1800th century style swooning. I can say without a doubt the Chadwick men are worth the effort. While I was Team Ford in his book, I have to say that Nate is now my favorite twin.

This was an unique romance! Nyx and Nate are both very strong and independent, successful individuals who are each used to looking out for their siblings. They meet because his identical twin brother is dating her best friend/younger sister. The attraction is instant, but Nate has been warned by his brother not to get involved with Nyx so as to not mess up Langford’s relationship with Persy.

Love this series! Nate & Nix were so good together! While I've read this series out of order (all standalones so I didn't miss anything) and knew Nate & Nyx, they surprised me with how much I ended up loving them! They are definitely my favorites of this series! Nate is the best!

Watching the relationship between Nate & Nyx develop as they try to deny their feelings while working through so many emotional issues was inspiring.
I adored the tie-ins with the Baker's Creek Billionaire Brothers series. Pierce Aldridge started to provide some redeeming qualities for himself!

I just loved the dance Nyx and Nate do around each other either though you know and i mean know they will be perfect together!! Not only that but how Ford is all like "don't mess with Nyx you will ruin it for me with Persy" (insert eye roll and the guy who didn't even like Persy to being with!!) Nate is ridiculously flirty but such and absolute sweetheart (insert swoon here) whether he likes to admit it or not and after what he has been through Nyx is the best medicine for Nate, while Nyx needs someone who sees her for her and cares about her and her baby on the why. Now its not an easy road by any stretch of the imagination but this is full of laughs, friends and family (naked and dressed hahahhaha) douche-bags, and two people who deserve to love and be loved without judgment and boy does this one deliver!!

I read this book in a day I enjoyed it so much! Really lovely writing and the story was brilliant. Funny and lighthearted, perfect after a shocker of a year!
