Superficial. I thought it was interesting enough to hold my attention but not deep enough for me to stay engaged or want to reread it. Also, it felt like the book focused more on sleep than on sun, or maybe it's more accurate to say it felt like a 50/50ish split between the two. I get that there's a relationship between the sun and the circadian rhythm, but I would've been interested in exploring more of the other topics (like in the intro, it talks about how the sun can be affect eczema and acne - even skin conditions like these would've been preferable to know more about, even though I don't have these myself).

Mainly, it felt like a lot of bullet points backed up by some examples. I would've liked it better if Geddes had come up with a hypothesis for each chapter and then proven it or exposed it via the scientific method. Even my twelve-year old nephew knows how to do this and knows why it's important.

Книга за слънчевата светлина, която се занимава основно с влиянието на слънчевия цикъл върху съня и доста малко с влиянието на самата светлина върху организма.

This came out in 2019. I learned very little. (But, this is an area of concern for me and thus I have looked into the broader topic.) She cited unfamiliar studies to support what I take to be common knowledge. Not bad, not great.

Fascinating exploration of sunlight and its’ importance for our health and well being. Beautifully read by the author on Audible. Not sure I could stay focused reading a hard copy.
