This post-apocalyptic post-pandemic book was perhaps shockingly good and sweet, although as a YA, some of it just moved a bit too fast.

I thought the main characters were really enjoyable and easy to empathize with, as with most of the secondary characters. I wish Cora had been a bit more developed though.

As a pandemic book, I thought this author did quite well developing the world the characters were living in. I also found that making them in a post-COVID world where we seemingly learned nothing was a strong choice that actually made this world more engaging!

Omgs Are you kidding me this was so good! The narration was perfect, it made me laugh and cry and tense with anticipation. I am sad now that I finished it 🥲

I really enjoyed the audiobook and I'm happy I went that route. I don't think I would have enjoyed this as much if i had read a physical copy.

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!!!!! It’s a gay slowburn romance with the added bonus of being post-apocalyptic. The vibes are just so good and the humour is perfect.

This was a great post apocalyptic book. Jamie and Andrew are very lovable characters. The pace of the book is super slow even in a post covid-type illness kills everyone world and the southern USA stays bad even after 87% of the world’s population dies. 100% worth a read. I hope there’s a sequel.
