This book starts with a bang and Madison amid a life-changing ordeal. So far, the story is dirty, gritty, and suspenseful. Enough tidbits are left to put it together, but not overly descriptive.

Madison, daughter of the president of Storm Mc. She seems to be running from her demons and using her given talents to appease her own desires. Madison tells how she got to where she is and the skeletons in her lengthy, torrid history with MC clubs and their members.

Jason or J brings heartbreak for Madison and the past incarnate. But he didn’t seem to be a bad guy; he just had a tough outer exterior. The drama this club faces is trigger warning alerts. It is dark and shocking. This book is sizzling hot, and this couple can’t keep their hands to themselves. The in-between scenes are a lot of fighting and overprotective gestures. But they seem to be trying to work on their relationship. J is undoubtedly an Alpha Male.

This book ends exciting, but I love that the author kept the gritty and protective throughout the story. This was a perfect biker romance read with real-life issues and sizzling scenes. She has many more books in the series that I may read eventually.

This one annoyed me. The Hero annoyed me, the heroine annoyed me, and the overuse of the word babe annoyed me.

I really wanted to like it, but something just didn’t connect. I felt no attachment to the characters and they just seemed juvenile. Maybe Bikers just aren’t my cup of tea. I might give the second book a try. Hopefully it’s better.

Everyone called everyone baby, honey, babe. So repetitive. A lot of passive voice and tense switching.

3.5 stars. I wanted to try this one again as the whole series books one to seven are on KU. My last review was two stars as Madison at the time came off really annoying, It's strange though this time around she didn't annoy me as much, although Madison's and J's arguments seemed petty, but I guess that's life, couples have silly arguments all the time.

I guess book ratings must all depend how you feel at the time of reading a book, your either liking it or not. I'm glad I've re-read this, I've seen some good ratings for the rest of the series and def going to try them. Bonus they are on KU.

This is my first review last year .........This series has potential, but i really wanted to shout at Madison to grow the hell up, God she was annoying. Just gone from a three star to two stars, thinking back I didn't see the connection between Madison and J. They had a lot of issues which I felt weren't dealt with properly. Saying all that I will try book 2 at some point.

Quick read

Fun quick read. No sons of anarchy but good enough to pass the time. Characters are well developed enough to drag you through the series

I enjoyed this storyline. It's rare I can enjoy a story when both the mains irritate the crap out of me. J was an insensitive a$s on a good day and Madison was a needy baby. It's hard to believe that she grew up as a club princess and yet stills cries daily about not being told club business. It was a constant fight about the same thing over and over again. Well we all know what comes after the fighting right?

I enjoyed the drama and there was multiple points of drama in this book. I liked how they were not drawn out the entire book but yet intertwined.

Eh. Okay, I tried. I really tried to like everyone in this book. Turns out, wine can't solve all your reading problems. Or maybe that's just for me today.

In Storm, you will meet Madison and Jason. All I can say about these two is that things get pretty steamy and hot rather quickly. Other than that, they annoyed the living shit out of me. They could be talking about the weather and I would've been annoyed. It was just them. Nothing helped - not even wine.

Then there's the drama that unfolds throughout this book. Honestly, it wasn't my cup of tea and it didn't make me want to get invested in anyone. This entire 'club' sounds like horse shit. Stinky ass horse shit. Not sure how I feel about her dad cheating on her mom and basically beating her up all free willy nilly. I was expecting a throat punch or two coming is way but I got nothing.

Besides family drama, there's these two dumb and unnecessary dramas from another gang. Eh, they did nothing for me and I didn't even see them being a threat to begin with. Crazy and in need of a hug or two? Sure. Anything other than that? Nope.

In the end, I tried a new series.. but it didn't really keep my interest. Now that I know the second book is about her brother.. definitely not going to read it.

I really loved it some phrases such as old lady jarred me, and everone swore and called each other baby was quiet comical

fuckity fuck tits fuckity fuck club fuckity fuck dress baby sweetheart fuck fuck fuck... ha ha ha. i swear but not that much...

Loved the story though the couple J and Madison are raw and come across real problems, i love the incredibly clever way the author tackles reactions and psychological scarring Madison encounters, not to mention the smut scenes are jalapeno hot.

KISS

Also My heart was in mouth in the end i was flinging my kindle screaming, but loved this well worth a read
