Was this series well written? not really. Did it have a super great story arch? meh.
Was this a good wrap up to the 6 book series? Yes
Do I still have questions about the resistance and why they exist? absolutely.

Don't recommend reading this books back to back to back or it gets a bit repetitive. They were an easy read and a great way to get 6 books done for my reading challenge. I think this series is exactly what you expect but I was pleased with the way it ended in book 6.

The series finally wrapped with this last book, and it was a wild ride. There were so many curveballs and WTH moments, but overall, I really enjoyed the series. I wanted more at the end of the story, but I loved where this relationship ended. The series is 6 books long, and there are a lot of ups and downs. But I think that is expected in a series this long, and overall, I could not get enough of this series.

Content Warnings: sexual content, blood, violence, kidnapping, murder, torture, death of parent[s], toxic relationships, and toxic friendships.
Mention of: child abuse, child sexual assault, and trauma.

Idk if I just ran through the series too fast...but I was a bit disappointed with the action parts of this book šŸ™ˆ I was expecting a bigger grand finally/final boss fight. It was still awesome and I love all the character development and the evolution of the bond group...but yeah I was expecting a bit more.

Okay ending to the series - still questions that were never answered like what Oliā€™s third gift is. Itā€™s mentioned several times throughout other books but never elaborated on.

Wish we got to know more about her parents so when she scatters their ashes it was more impactful.

I think this was the first one without negative self-commentary on FMC's body? Finally!

Worthy end to the series, though reading it all in one go, it felt a little like this was jumping the shark a bit. I'm still not totally sure what the Resistance was resisting against, exactly, and why...? So that's annoying. Probably should have taken some breaks in between books to make it less intense though.

But, lots of spice, some good scenes, twists, and turns, and emotions (
though Vivian's death was a bit unnecessary??
). Liked the HEA, and many many plus points for NOT being pregnant in the epilogue.

something about this book didnā€™t sit right with me . the plot was ok but every other chapter you got a whole lot of sex and practically an orgy . so it wasnā€™t my cup of tea

Iā€™m not gonna lie, at this point of the six books series, Iā€™m just reading the last book in order to find out how this series concludes. As all the bonds have been formed and all the relationships are intact, I really miss the banter, and the drama between Oli and her bonded. It made me realize that I enjoyed the first four books, so much because of the drama in the banter between the characters. It made it really fun and enjoyable.

Letā€™s be honest, all of us were hoping for a detailed and entertaining smut scene in this book and I personally felt unsatisfied.

The rest of the book was really just filling in those plot holes that have been there since the first book and wrapping up the series. I found the ending to be an enjoyable, and I was just passively listening to it in the background.

BOOK REVIEW : Let me preface this by saying the only reason this book has been given four stars was due to my absolute adoration of the series as a whole. This book on its own, however, had enough dislikable elements that resulted in a finale I can only describe as disappointing. With Silas now dead, we are introduced into the world of the reawakened gods, something that was described, battled and resolved, all in a single book. This was the biggest and most prominent issue for me, followed by Vivianā€™s unnecessary death, and the cease of character development entirely. I really wish that Tragic Bonds had been the conclusion to this otherwise incredible series, including a six part epilogue featuring a small, final perspective from each of the main characters.

ā€œAt least I got to meet each of them. If only for a few moments in a thousand lifetimes, I got to know those who complete my soul.ā€

Ultimately, Oli and her harem of stubborn, hotheaded, addictive men will always have my heart, this series living rent free on my list of all time favourites.
