Un deuxième livre que j'attendais avec impatience et qui a répondu à toutes mes attentes =D

Ce que j'ai particulièrement aimé :
- l'univers avec les vampires, les ghouls, les démons mais aussi les autres trucs étranges comme "Veritas" et sa "famille" =) Et j'adore également les histoires avec Caïn, Tenoch etc etc.
- les multiples intrigues que j'ai adoré avec Dagon, ses anciennes victimes, Véritas qui évite Ian ...
- les personnages toujours aussi attachants et amusants : Ian et Veritas bien sûr (tellement mignon et sexy ensemble ... Mais aussi retors <3 La scène
Spoileroù Ian va voir le grand conseil des vampires pour porter plainte xD
) mais aussi les anciens comme Mencheres (la scène
Spoiler où il accueille Veritas dans la famille xD
) ou Vlad et les nouveaux comme Ashael (j'espère qu'il aura son propre livre !!)
- CETTE FIN !! Je m'y attendais tellement pas mais j'ai TELLEMENT hâte d'avoir la suite !! (
Spoilerle fiance divin, le membre du conseil des vampires qui bosse pour Dagon ...
)

(Oui il y a du gore et
Spoiler l'amnésie de Ian disparait un peu facilement
mais ça m'a pas trop gênée ><)

Bref, si vous êtes fan de vampires, de démons et de mythologies, ce livre et cette série sont pour vous =D
J'AI BESOIN DU PROCHAIN LIVRE <3

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A second book which I impatiently awaited and which met all my expectations =D
What I particularly liked :
- the universe with vampires, ghouls, demons but also other strange things like "Veritas" and her "family" =) And I also love the stories with Cain, Tenoch etc etc.
- the multiple plots that I loved with Dagon, his former victims, Veritas who avoids Ian ...
- the characters both endearing and funny: Ian and Veritas of course (so cute and sexy together ... But also devious <3 The scene
Spoilerwhere Ian goes to see the great vampire council to file a complaint xD
) but also the former ones like Mencheres (the scene
Spoilerwhere he welcomes Veritas in the xD family
) or Vlad and the new ones like Ashael (I hope he will have his own book !!)
- THIS END !! I was not expecting it but I CAN'T wait for the next book !! (
Spoilerthe divine fiance, the member of the vampire council who works for Dagon ...
)
(Yes there is gore and
SpoilerIan's amnesia disappears a little easily
but it didn't bother me too much ><)
In short, if you are a fan of vampires, demons and mythologies, this book and this series are for you =D
I NEED THE NEXT BOOK <3
Förlåt men jag hade hoppas så mycket mer på att äntligen få Ians berättelse. På något sätt klickar jag inte för Ians och Veritas relation, den känns ganska ytlig och jag förstår inte alls hur dessa två ska vara gjorda för varandra.
Själva historien minns jag knappt men ger den ändå 3 stjärnor då den ändå höll mig fast så jag ville avsluta boken.
I always enjoy this world and this book is no exception. Cannot wait to read the third book to see how it turns out. If you like the Nigh Huntress World make sure to give all the books a spin.
I went back to re-read / re-listen to this series because I saw that our infamous pain in the behind, Ian was finally getting his books. I loved going back into the Night Huntress Universe. These books are laugh out loud funny, heart wrenching, steamy, bloody, crazy well written, novels. Each one brings you deeper into the Night Huntress world and if I could live there, I’d bounce out and into this world SO FREAKING FAST!!!!!!!
Now a good book is a good book, but when you add in a next level narrator with the amazing writing and storytelling that is Jeaniene Frost – bro- that’s when magic happens. And this is what the Night Huntress universe is with narrator Tavia Gilbert. NEXT LEVEL MAGIC. I will forever LISTEN to these audiobooks because Tavia has completely raised the bar on audiobooks for me. Each characters voice ( Bones, I’m listening to you, handsome) is utterly FANTASTIC. I’m obsessed. Obviously, you can tell from all the CAPS that keep popping up here. From Cat and Bones, Mencheres and Kiera, Vlad and Leila, Spade and Denise, to each supporting character and every villain – I’m here for it. HERE. FOR. IT. I want Tavia to narrate my LIFE after listening and re-listening to these books. Anyway – there’s not a bad book in this series, which is rare, and what’s even better – I can listen to them YEARS later and still laugh out loud at these characters. They’re amazing. Jeaniene is amazing. Tavia is amazing. It’s AMAZING.
If you’re an audiobook listener – check these out because they’re top notch. So So Good. I’m so excited to get back into this world with Ian’s story. GIMME!!!!!
Thank you to Edelweiss+ for an ARC of this book for an honest review
I love Ian and Veritas! They are possibly my favorite couple from the Night Huntress series. Their story is somewhat heartbreaking but so lovely as well. A 2,000+ year old vampire/demigod and Ian. Especially with Ian trying to remember what is happening at the beginning book and losing something that he knows is important but not how it's important. Veritas is such a great character. I understand why she is acting the way she does. Leaving an extremely powerful ally behind that can help her (and she explains why too!),
There were some aspects that I would consider standard and believe were predictable. However, its such a good story and so many twists and turns that I wasn't expecting. I can't wait to read the third book!
It's nearly impossible not to love Ian in this book. That swarmy, sarcastic ass from the Night Huntress series has evolved into my book husband's worthy brother. I can wait to see what happens next!
Dir Reihe ging fantastisch weiter. Hin und wieder hat es sich für mich persönlich etwas gezogen, aber nicht wirklich oft oder lange. Ich liebe den Twist am Ende und bin super gespannt auf das dritte Buch.
First read:
Ian remains a fast favorite of mine, but I did NOT know this wasn't the last of his books, so while I'm not mad it's not over, I did not know I'd be presented with a bit of a cliffhanger...
