This was a bit of a nothing read for me - not like offensive or anything just didn't do much for me! I don't think I jived with the format. I think thematically, the format made sense but made for a jagged reading experience.

story 10/10, main character 1/10

I've never met a less likable character than gilda, holy hell what a mess of a person. I'd love to give her a reality check cause girlie desperately needs one. she's frustrating and annoying but i did like the general story! Finished this book so quickly but idk if i powered through it cause i was intrigued or because i wanted it to end asap ...

An interesting read. I was confused why the police arrested Gilda considering there is so much evidence of her having a severe anxiety disorder and depression. Also the fact she never knew Grace when she was alive. It felt like Gilda should have been offered help rather than thrown into a cell. I also find it ridiculous that they only ended their suspicions on Gilda when they found the suicide note.
