Rebels & Rejects

This was my first RA book. The blurb made me wanna read it hardcore so I downloaded and went to town. It was banging.

There was panty melting scenes and when they hit boo boo they HIT. Trigger warning some of the scenes were dubcon vibish.

The storyline was there and it was good. It wasn't the typical fast burn but it wasn't really a medium either. It's in a category of its own lol.

The ending???? OMG RA what the heck!!!

I will say this started off slow for me. But once I continued I was hooked, it gained the pace and the momentum for me. Listen you have a fiery smartass, cunning woman Sawyer who will do anything for her brother. And the men, don't get me going on them. I'll take Cain and Oliver in a heartbeat and not look back. Book 2 is in the making and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Revenge, plotting, spice, badass woman what more could you ask for?

  • ok so i will preface by saying i dislike gang trope stories as a precedent, so this one had a few points knocked off as that was a huge premise of it
  • but the FMC was a huge badass which i really appreciated
  • she was a stripper but there was no shame there and she didn’t let anyone make her feel that way and i LOVED THAT like i am so tired of people shaming others who are just trying to get by in the ways they are able
  • and is it at all realistic that she is a vigilante assassin? nope! did i think it was cool though? yep!
  • i really liked Oliver, he really let her be her authentic self and accepted her for that and it made me happy
  • Cain was a bit of a bastard at times and sorry but trauma doesn’t excuse being a massive dick and shaming your crush because you’re jealous that she gets with others
  • and Enzo wow we didn’t get much of him but he is hot and a promising character for the next book damn
  • and i love a girl who can fight, dance seductively, and stand up to asshole men all in the same hour
  • i was very curious about how the next book would incorporate 2 more MMCs as love interests when this whole book was spent establishing the first 2

A lot of background info in this book that drives the plot. It feels a bit slow but I honestly appreciate that they delved so much into the background so you understand motives.

This book is amazing! It’s an enemies to lover ❤️‍

Mercy what an absolute fantastic start to a new series.
Phew I feel like I've been pulled through the ringer every which way fuck was it intense.
This arthur takes you on a wild ride with the twists and turns of this wonderful story that will have your heart breaking as you get some of the back stories about some of the side character's as well as a lil of the main character's Cain, Sawyer aka Red and Oliver is keeping his story close to his chest, but you know there's a darkness he hides just like they all do. This book had me flipping the pages fast to find out what was happening on the next page as I couldn't put it down the whole time it was that good.
I don't want to give thing's away you just have to go in blind.
I'm so ready for the next in the series.
There are triggers in here so read the warnings other than that I absolutely would recommend.
