As someone who's ace but not 100% this was a great read
I really love the asexual representation in this manga. It is something that is not often seen in literature in general, including manga and graphic novels. I really liked being able to see Chika become her own person and learn more about asexuality. The manga was cute, informative, and a fun read.
The story for the most part was told well. The pacing was a little off in places and too fast for my liking. I feel like this would have worked better broken up into a couple of different volumes or just a tad longer. That we would could have better pacing and could have gone more into depth into each character. I love that the mangaka showed/told us readers that asexuality is a spectrum and not everyone is the same when it comes to being asexual, so again I LOVE the representation. I just personally feel that better pacing could have allowed the mangaka to show us certain things in the story more instead of needing the character information in the back. Being vague because spoilers.
With all that being said I did enjoy this manga and think it should be read by the masses. I learned a lot of things and really appreciate this story.

**I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC via NetGalley and will now share my honest thoughts.**
To be honest, I'm struggling to find words to describe how much I adored this story. ♡
I found Chika to be very endearing. At times I found her journey of self-discovery heartwarming and at times, especially in the beginning of the story, heart wrenching. Through it all, she was able to also channel her quest to discover who she is to help others who were also struggling with sexual identity and relationship issues which is truly beautiful.
I won't spoil the ending for those who have yet to read this beautiful manga, but I cried happy tears for Chika, Ume and everyone else who came to grow together.
I would like to also thank Uta Isaki for, through this manga, sharing a part of their own journey in such a loving way. I feel that I was able to learn a lot through both the story and the informative pages at the end of the book. For that, I am truly grateful.
Thank you again to NetGalley and Uta Isaki for allowing me to read the ARC! I will absolutely be reading more of Isaki's work in the future!
